Backstory: Being from New York City, I am surrounded by all of the colors of the spectrum. For me, this was a no brainer, and I decided shops deserve to have the bit of flair they deserve. While the traction with BTC used to be slow, these days everything has changed. More people are buying, selling, adopting, and converting their storefronts to accept BTC at their locations. It is huge, and there is no obvious way other than stickers that shout out "HEY! WE ACCEPT BTC!".

After much talking and discussion with my glass guy, I have the following information ready to share with you:

In order to get a reasonable deal and great pricing for signs, I need at least 25 buys of signs to make this happen. Otherwise, the glass guy will be charging over $320 for a custom design sign such as this. The sign is huge and runs about 2 feet in both directions (an arm and a half length wise).

This will bring the prices to the following:

$250.00 - not including shipping.
Bitpay will automatically calculate shipping to your location for you.

All items will be shipped via:
UPS for Domestic USA orders
USPS Express Mail International for those outside of the country.
Ships from California and New York.
Everything will have tracking, guaranteed.

Estimated Shipping Date: Late September

It's a bit of a wait, yeah, for two reasons:

To keep an average price for a sign thats not too much because of size (2ft x 2ft), and,
lastly, its easier for my glass guy to do them in bulk orders vs one by one.

This way if I just give him all the requests at once, they'll all be out at the same time, and folks won't be paying with their newborn for a giant sign that usually retails for around 400 for it's size. :D

40% down payment has been made via fiat to the glass manufacturer.
The remaining 60% fiat will be delivered to him upon full completion of 10 signs.

these signs look awesome, keep up the amazing work.

Have you worked on other colors and layouts/designs?

One at a time. I had to see if this would be a success first before proceeding with others.

I plan for a new design revamp at the beginning of the year, though, this current one is pretty nice as is.

I love the signs but it just kills me to pay $75 shipping, plus $40 brokerage fees, plus another $30 in tax to get it to Canada.  :-[

Dat Canada tax! If you want me to put down a different importation value number on it I will do it (I rarely do), but keep in in if something happens on the way there it would effect the Insurance price it sets on the object from the shipping company.

You're already sold on bitcoin. Why don't you buy a convenience store, have it accept bitcoin and put it in the storefront?
