I want to play some games like Counter Strike.

:( It sucks but there are very few games out there like Counter Strike these days, there are only call of duty clones with RPG statistics vomited all over them, the only one I've been able to find that comes close is Warsow but there aren't too many people playing that, it's like quake ( I think they used that engine ) but you have bunny hop mechanics built in.

Here's a (free)  quake clone with a bunch of (free) servers:

Both win & *nix binaries, pretty dated graphics but no worries about frame rates on the junkiest laptops.  And it's free & doesn't require installation, so just delete if U no liek.

Just found this, looks a bit more promising than other games, you might like it but I haven't tried it so I can't really vouch for it, not even released yet and it's up on GOG.com.

I think I particularly like the lack of an all seeing mini-map that shows you where the enemy is.

Titanfall :), Torchlight II or Borderlands 2 are good games

I'm gonna have to co sign the titanfall suggestion above ^^.  I just became aware it was online so it my interest you to check it out.

I recommend ARMA. It is by far the best war simulator ever developed. It is used the world over to train troops and run sandbox missions. Battles may include vehicles, aircraft, artillery, ships, anything really; and the scale of the maps is beyond huge.
It will be a lot different than counter strike. There is almost no running and gunning in this game, just as there is none in actual combat. If you run 100 meters, you will be out of breath and your shooting will reflect that. This really forces you to work together on missions. Check out this game play by a great ARMA 2 team, 15th. MEU. As you will see, the games are slow and methodical; and very tense.

It's not like counter strike but you should try Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy, it's a great game.

FPS <.< beurk, the only fps games I enjoyed really are DooM Quack, the original medal of honor and Call of duty and the original duke nukem, I enjoy CS for like what 30min 1hr from time in lan but I hate playing it more than that and in a long while anyway look at the above you might want to play or replay one of those classic again

Oh man I miss doom even though I was never really great at it I liked playing it.  Good suggestion. 

I used to play Combat Arms a couple years back. It's similar to Counter Strike.

Try Battlefield 4 multiplayer

lol only if you have an i5 or i7 processor, even then there are people complaining about how bad it is.

play gta 5 its pretty awesome and you can just go on a rampage and it will help out in day to day life with stress.

CS:GO is fun. You can buy it for $5 or so.

Overall, almost similar to Market Glory. but there, the amount of fight / day is not restricted. fight using stamina, will be reduced 1. stamina will also increase in a few minutes. the amount of money generated in the fight, and paid to work fairly high. and time to be able to work again is not too long.
yeah ... if I think, golden battle a little easier and simple.

There's insurgent (or insurgency, I forgot. I think its made by devs of CS, and its on steam)

And Fallout 3. It's made by the same developper and has a similar feel, but the setting is totaly different. (post apocalyptic wasteland vs. medieval)
Since you like CS you'll probably prefer Fallout 3.

Try out the latest Age of Empires. Perfect to waste your time and to get addicted.

I'd recommend Age of Empires II: The Forgotten.

Civillization is pretty similler, I love the 5th one. Extremly addicting.

Did you try Sprinter Cell? Not quite Counter Strike, but I like the way it goes. Stealth is the best weapon in Sprinter Cell.
I really liked the IGI series, too bad they discontinued making them.

Heroes of Newerth is just as competitive as CS but less boring
people hate this game because they're bad at it
