Title: Tracking transactions
Post by: GrumbleShark on December 03, 2017, 04:24:10 PM
Hello everyone - my first post here  ;D

How does everyone rack their trades?  I'm not only asking for tax reasons, but also to get a general idea of any profit or loss.

I'd really like to find a website that will let me enter my trades, as well as mining information, and could refresh prices from online sources.

Any tips for a noob?

What are you trying to say? if you want to look out the history of your balance, then go to blockchain.info, paste your address in there, and you will be able to see all ur transaction history.
If you mean about your exchange, then you need to do the tracking by yourself, just do your own math and calculate it based on the history if the trades of your account.

Maybe you are newbie into this world, and that is why you do not understand the difference about which one of the systems are you talking about (exchange - wallet)

If you have any doubts, you can send me a PM and i will try to help you out as fast as i can.

People don't realize this, but it is perfectly possible to track Bitcoin transactions. Really, it isn't that hard. In the future the government will be able to track fraud and Mixers will be pointless. The governemtn will knwo what you spent every dollar or (Satoshi) on and you will not be able to evade taxes I thinkeach country will ave their own crypto and you will be able to use it and exchange for it.

I mean as I am looking for the same thing I'd just love to tag along in this, but I do have a platform I currently use which does work fine if you're using one exchange and not doing too many trades. It also has the ability for you to input how much you'd be liable to pay in taxes (in the US this would be a flat 15 percent capital gains tax) Though if you need tax help, seek professional help.

CyrptoCompare is the site by the way, click portfolio on the site and you're able to make one.

I'm currently using blockfolio(android app) to record all my trades, view portfolio and keep track of bitcoin and altcoins prices. there are so many apps and sites, but blockfolio is best one out there. give it a try. for mining information, you could try (cryptfolio.com).

Do you mean tracking your trades? I am tracking my trading portfolio using blockfolio app in my mobile phone. Very easy to check the current price of my coins that i am holding. It is available both in google play and app store. Also this one https://cointracking.info/ for checking your trades.
