I think monero and z-cash are the best A lot depends on the GPUs you are using. Zcash can be good on nvidia cards, especially the 1080Ti's but there are other good coins to mine as well. For most AMD cards the Ethash algorithms are usually better and for monero either brand is good. As GeePeeU said, Whattomine.com is a good site if you want to keep up on what is profitable at any given time, but I have found sticking to the big coins, Ethereum, Zcash, Monero is pretty safe. Since they all rotate around in the top spot most of the time, if you are mining and holding you can control when you sell so you can get the best price anyway. I think monero and z-cash are the best That is correct. These alts are good for mining, but Zcash is better in my opinion. You can also add to the list DASH and Ethereum. Use Minergate pool for mining of these altcoins – it is profitable. As my tests with GTX P106-100 for mining Ethas (ETH/ETC) and Equihash (ZEC/ZEN/BTG) algorithms, the power each GPU draws for Ethas is about 75W while for Equihash it's about 97W. So with few rigs, the accumulated power cost we have to pay is a way high. |
