I'm from south korea. We have korean trading platform, but I really wish to buy bitcoin so I'm trying to join one of trading platform, but I'm stucked varifying my account.

I have my passport, I can take a photo of myself with my passport, but what the hell is the "proof of residency" is?

Are they asking me to live in U.S to buy bitcoin?

What document am I supposed to submit? whatever the document is, it should be written in korean language and I don't think they can read it.

Please help!!!!!

ahhh sounds like your trying to buy from Korea trading platform and sell it to usa platform.  If so partner with an American to do this, someone trusted of course.

It looks like the OP is trading in Bittrex, I am experiencing the same thing.
until now I have not got a reply from Bittrex.
I will try it from scratch.

What exchange is it that you're trying to get into? I'd think that if it's something that is fully in english and has no way of translating into your lanugage, then it's not going to be a site that's for you. But on another note, a proof residence is probably going to be a government issues ID, password, maybe utility bill?

At what bitcoin site are you trying to register and verify your account? MAybe you should submit or send there any utility bill such as electricity bill, water bill and others, as long as it has your name and the address. You may also use any tax identification card you have there. I hope this helps.
