My portfolio of ICO investment is still profitable but the profit is decreasing day by day. you need to invest early and wait a long time to sell the tokens and would be lucky to get the ICO price.

Yes it is profitable and affordable too because if you want to earn big you should risk big as bitcoin now is very expensive to purchase for a capital so also the risk is but that is not mean that we are very safe in ICO to invest because still we should review and do a deep research before joining an ICO. ICO is much affordable but talking of profit it is better to earn small than nothing at all.

Bitcoin and ICOs are very different both in price and in their profitability. Most ICOs such as Ethereim, Litecoin are profitable. However, in comparison with Bitcoin they bring much less profit. So you choose where to invest.

understand the technology. That's how I see it, whether successful or not ico
1 I think the most important is the team
2 is the technology, how necessary it is to modern society
3 community. let's say soon to be ico envion there in a group in telegram
already 9000 people. It shows interest in the project
I believe it is the Foundation for a successful ico
there's still a lot of conditions on what is worth paying attention to but these I believe are fundamental

Investing on ICO is profitable because you can invest here a little money and you can get a big reward. No matter if you loss you loss a small amount of money.
Thats is why ICO is profitable but before investing on ICO you have to check about the ICO you are investing.

I can say that ICO quite more riskier than bitcoin because some ICO will end for scamming new investor.
So I suggest before try to trade, prepare for lose and winning become second priority before too late !

If you want to invest, you can check out VLB !

'Good' legit ICOs are usually profitable.....To give you an example; look at the price of EOS and its increase in the last period (along with BTC and Ether increase)
I only want to point out that doing your own due diligence exercise about a 'good' ICO, to invest in, is mandatory!

Yeah investing in ICOs can be profitable but you should not blindly invest in any ICO. You should do some research about the ICO that you want to invest in and also if possible ask other people's opinion on the ICO. If you carelessly invest in any ICO you will most likely lose all your money. Also you need to be careful because there are some scam ICOs too.

For some ICOs it is profitable day by day you can see the changes on your blockfolio but you should make a technical analysis before doing some investment and check it for yourself if it is good or bad idea to invest in.

Every ICO is verg profitable of you done your own research we know that some of them told or posted that all ICO is a scam but we should know that not all of them is not scam why? Because there are some real ICO that has a real goal in there ICO buy doing some small research can be a great help and also why not talk to your cryptocurrency friends and ask them what is their current ICO

I believe ICOs could be profitable if the projects are impressive. To know if it's impressive, you should take time in reading their whitepaper, roadmap, team, etc. However, it really depends and not all of them are profitable. Everything in this world has risks, but great rewards came in if it skyrockets to the moon.

If there are more buyers than sellers in that particular project, expect that the price would be higher than just dumping all of it for some quick cash.

If you can try to choose the over hype project that raised the hardcap just in some seconds and it may bring you a lot of the profit if you can participate in there. As far as i know just like some over hyped project such as powerledger and quantamp. many coin already traded above the ico price. Genesis and minexcoin too.

This topic has already been discussed on the forum many times. But I will answer that it always depends on the project itself. ICO is just a method.
Now so many good projects choose this method, so yes, profitable.
For example, now it's profitable to invest in gaming projects, VR/AR (for example gaming AR/VR project IQeon), fintech products.

Everybody has a different point of view it can be a profitable ICO or a scam ICO but still not all are scam and there are some profitable but you should wait for a long time until that certain coin can be profitble . By doing a simple research you can avoid those scam and why not ask your crypto currency friend what is the best or currently ICO that there are joined maybe you can fine profitable ICO

ICOs do have profit in them, but it depends on one factor alone. If the ICO will be successful or not.

Some ICOs are announced and introduced to the public and promise this, that and the other thing, but in the end it's all smoke - these types of ICOs are the ones that didn't have a successful crowdsale or are scams. There is no way you can profit from these, you can only lose from these types of ICO.

Other ICOs are announced to the public and introduce their idea or concept to the community, they will give you all the details regarding the project, giving you different dates, plans, visions and missions to complete the set tasks. All these will boil down to a successful ICO. These are the type of ICOs you can profit from, if you have invested in them from the very beginning your share of the profit will most probably be greater since you are one of the early adopters of this ICO.

Whatever the case, you will have to do very strong research in ICOs so you do not fall into the trap of scams or frauds.

As with all high-return investments, buying cryptocurrency is risky, and ICOs are riskier still. And as with all active investments in general, it is wise to never commit more money than you can afford to lose.

etherium and litecoin are not ico's , both of them are alternative  coins or altcoins.

@op it depends on the ico you've choose, some ico's are profitable and some are not , there were also scams so i suggest better do your own research first in order for you to know and decide on which of them will suite your needs.

some ICO mostly profitable to be invested, but you need to do research in detail before participate in some ICO.
you need to evaluate the team of that ICO, the whitepaper, what vision and mission of that project.
Absolutely you need analyze skill or opinion from some expert people about that project before join them.

I am including those who agree if investment in ico is to have a good profit, as long as we doing more research about the projects. Doing research about dev team are most important first information to gaining. Find out about how token distribution and marketing. Then you can decide which ico project you want to investing.

Depends on what ICO you decide to join. There are ICO campaigns that does not end up succesfully resulting to little to no profit. The successful ones are definitely profitable. Just choose the right ICO to invest with to make profit.

As said before, you must be cautious because there are lots of scams out there. But, besides  having a well structured project (check whitepaper and crowdsale documents) and a strong community, owning a solid productos gives some confidence also to the project. As I write this, the AppCoins ICO come to my mundo, as they check all the boxes above.

It is, but it's crucial to investigate and read as much information as possible and write down all the important aspects, positive and negative, before making an investment decision.
ICO will become more and more "mainstream" as a method of fundraising. There will be plenty of projects to choose from, so it will become even harder to evaluate these projects.

Here's some good coins to invest right now. All are utility tokens with strong technological backgrounds:
- AppCoins (APPC)
- OmiseGO (OMG)
- Cindicator (CND)

I do not think that investing in ICO can still bring a good profit. For example, now almost all tokens after ICO immediately fall in price. Those projects that bring you profit are an exception rather than the rules and there are very few of them. So I prefer not to take risks and not invest in ICO.
