Secondly, there's absolutely no guarantee that it will happen either. Actually, I consider it extremely unlikely, especially in our lifetimes. BTC currently isn't capable of handling more than a few transactions per second so as of yet it's simply incapable of replacing fiat money. There's nowhere near enough money in the world for the price to be $100,000,000, so you would have to hope for the US dollar to hyperinflate before that time. Bitcoin is becoming mainstreamed Really? The question is when though no ne can tell the specific date holding some of your satoshis might give you the opportunity of becoming a millionaire in the future we should be patience while waiting for now focus on earning bitcoin and as much as possible try to keep some for investment and do not sell them right away if you don't need the money yet.

This is possible, however, it depends on the future if people would still believe on bitcoin. As you can see, there's a lot of issues that are around bitcoin. Some say that bitcoin is just a bubble, and it can be gone anytime. Some would say that it will keep growing that is why a lot of people are holding bitcoin. Let's just see how fast and how high bitcoin value will grow in the future. People have been saying this for years, Only time it popped when bitcoin was stolen pn MTgox and that gold rush died onlly for a while. Look it had no effect on where it is now. I hope your calculations about satoshi will come true but I think it will take some decades to reach 1 satoshi = $1 so if you can wait until then you will be a millionaire.But now the bitcoin price keeps increasing due to many factors the important is by increasing the demand of bitcoin.So people will have to hold their bitcoin to make more demands. The theory is incomplete since you have not mentioned the time it will take for Bitcoin to reach $100 million. Bitcoin has real potential and I won't deny that but assuming 1 satoshi = $1 is a little to much and won't be certainly possible seeing the current issues like unconfirmed transactions, network overload, high transaction fees etc... These are real problems without any reliable solutions yet. Bitcoin has to solve these problems first in order to reach the $100 million milestone.

Actually, it doesn't make sense for 1 satoshi to be valued at 1 USD. Maybe when the dollar is even more priceless than it is today, it will be the case, but as long as it makes sense for the price of any item to be valued in cents, it will make sense for 1 satoshi to be at most 1 cent. Actually, it doesn't make sense for 1 satoshi to be valued at 1 USD. Maybe when the dollar is even more priceless than it is today, it will be the case, but as long as it makes sense for the price of any item to be valued in cents, it will make sense for 1 satoshi to be at most 1 cent. I do not think it will go more then 100 million per 1.0 bitcoin coin, I think it will go up and down. Hopefully at this time there is more acceptance on a merchant level. Bitcoin reaching $10000 took a lot of time and speculations from all bitcoin veteran here and saying that it would reach 100 million dollars per bitcoin is a far cry. For sure that there would be a lot of issues that bitcoin will have in the future that will hinder in price increasing even more. Its good to have a dream but something which does make sense and feasible is what you can work upon to achieve it. Rest it would be magic if it can even reach 50k in coming years. Bitcoin reaching beyond 10 thousand already faced different obstacles just to achieve its present price. Knowing that indeed it was not supported to even happen before but it did, still is not the big issue. Since that bitcoin came from cheaper cost, then it can rise as fast as it could. But with the price right now, I think a 100 million dollar per bitcoin is not as feasible as you look. Before it reached its present price, ICOs, regulations and banning are already influencing as a positive or even negative to bitcoin. And before your dream come, I think there are more obstacles to come. Yes I can agree to this, I never said it would be easy, Im just stating bitcoin true value. I do not think it will go more then 100 million per 1.0 bitcoin coin, I think it will go up and down. Hopefully at this time there is more acceptance on a merchant level. We will have to learn not to cash the bitcoin back into fiat but to use it to purchase. Why put it back into a fiat anyway? One Bitcoin wasn't worth that much in the past so it is highly possible that 0.01 BTC will be really hard to get. However, 1 million dollars for 0.01? I guess we won't see that before 2030. I agree I do not like the fact CME group futures is doing, they think they are helping bitcoin but in honestly is not fair to others who were true believers. Very good point. When things look that bright it is tempting to dream big. But there were massive crashs in the past, look at what happened in 2011 or 2013. There are a few vulnerabilities out there. News about any goverment that is issuing laws that make trading or possession difficult or illegal could become a real threat. How this is going to play out is impossible to predict. On the upside, there are governments who support a coexistence. In switzerland you can pay your tax with Bitcoin. If other countries adopt that model things could play out much more in our favour.
