If they want to prove themselves as pure bitcoin wallet than I don't think they should block any IP. I haven't done anything wrong and there is no way to find who are getting this same IP from my ISP provider. Contact them to unblock it to access my wallet  ??? ::)

To be fair, as a website they do need to implement security measures.

Most other websites implement DDoS protection and other protection against abuse which is based on IP addresses.  If you are innocent, you can just contact them and they'll probably clear up why the IP is blocked and/or help you out.

You can always use a VPN if they won't unblock the IP.

And why would you use a hosted wallet instead of your normal and secure desktop wallet anyway? Why do people risk their coins with services that may block your IP/account whenever they want? Are you guys that lazy?

I don't think Electrum would be able to block your IP for "suspicious behavior" or "security measures".

I wouldn't do it myself, but a lot of people do it because it's more convenient for them.  Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

To be fair, some web wallets allow access to your private keys, and BTC.com has a multisig system so that the owners of the wallet itself are incapable of taking your funds (and therefore they don't have incentives to unnecessarily block people's wallets).
Not everyone needs to bother, especially if you're storing small amounts like <$100.

You should think about restarting your wireless router, that might set a new IP address, and you can visit BTC.com without a barrier.

If anything, resetting their modem would do that, not their router, but it's very likely they'll just end up with the same IP. I would either contact them, or use a VPN, or go somewhere else (cafe, library) where you could use a different IP.

Its possible to pass through by resetting your modem because it would really have an other mac  but if it doesnt work out then the last resort would be using VPN because this is the common thing that been used when it comes on blockage of IP because of some restriction but quiet odd why they are really strict.

Resetting your modem will not change your/it's mac address, and your mac address doesn't matter anyways because the online service can't see it.

We go out sometimes, am I right? Agreed, it's best to download electrum but not always and not for everyone. For example I travel very often between some cities and there are moments when I need bitcoin, what to do? Own android/ios wallet? No, it's not portable for me. So sometimes they are good deal.

Using VPN would be worst action because there is a high chance of blocking. Problem was caused by their system and it can be solved, so no need to panic and start saying bad words about btc.com wallet.
