Lots of coins, just do some research. Lately I see matchpool is one of them, they are giving a second token qtum blockchain, if you see that news, you would buy some matchpool

Coins that have a plan to do fork soon attracts buyers especially when they give free coins during the fork time and it will be great profit if you know when to buy and when to sell it :)

Take a look at Elix, I think this could be a very interesting short-to-mid-term invest as the present progress and team seem to be very promising

I look for coins that are nearing what I perceive to be their bottom and are undervalued and so a break out is near. Siacoin was one but that's already happened today. I'd say verge is still fairly undervalued and we could see similar with it pumping 50% or so in a day although I would prefer a slightly cheaper entry point around 55 satoshi.

Look out for Wagerr, they are going mainnet on Jan 2018. Good potential for short term.

Focuss on ico tokens, not the major altcoins if you wanna get short term profit. There are tons of them available on exchanges, try MCO, RCC, MTH, CDT, SONM this kind of tokens. They're volatile enough to make profit in minutes.

Many coins are up right now. Bitcoin and Ethereum have both significantly rose in the last month. If you want a big gain though you will need to get in on a new coin early and hope it spikes.

Focus on news of altcoins, join social media, twitter, slack - to be aware of everything happening. And you will get know in advance  which one of the list has the most perspective to grow up!
 

Check out Syscoin, they are getting close to releasing masternodes on the main network.

It is a horrible advice, maybe holding bitcoin is one of the most safest things that you can do, but dash? Everybody knows that dash is a scam, only that it has went up like crazy.


I would suggest you to hold some Cardano right now, the price has been increasing a lot, maybe it will become the next Ripple in a few months, who knows?
I already bought more than one thousand dollars worth of this coin, and believe me, at the beggining i thought that it was a scammy project.

Short time investment? Look for the bullish ones. Enter cautiously and then exit by the time profit is already made. That is the point of short time investment. Try to consider Waves, NEO, Strat for now. Or even Ethereum. They are expected to grow bigger. But be careful because they have already flown higher. However, the growth is not yet finished. There is still much more growth in the days to come.

I actually follows Crypto couple years,
I could say that it is not easy to get short time profit unless that you do trading or pumping.

It is very difficult.

For short term profit, I would recommend you monitor, then buy when low and sell for profit the following coins:

1. NEO
2. CVC ( There are some positive news to pump it)
3. SAFEX ( Also some good news)

There are many other coins that are good too you need to do your own research. One more thing, try and stay off these lending scam icos. Too many of them coming out daily.

In my opinion the only short-term currencies are Bitcoin and Ethereum, it may seem simple, but the timing is great, and the price of them tends to rise a lot, because of the large daily volume and investors.

There are so many coin and that make me so confusing to decide which one is good in short time.
But only big and legit coin like etherium and bitcoin and waves will have good future, short or long is good choice.

short term profit is risky. you can earn 2x in one day but can lose 3x in half an hour.

-If there is a fork and gives free coins after fork than can wait for big profit .
-If there is some good news or deals about project than can wait for big profit,
-If there is huge coin burning than you can wait a huge profit. ( it depens burning % )
-If the project is gonna release beta / alpha testing , you can wait for big profit.

In trading short time profit how possible.I involved trading before 2years.What coin is short time profitable it's prediction is difficult job I think.MGO,Pillar,Ripple is better in short time but I am not surely.

I gained lots on EMC2, VEN, VOX, REQ, SUB, IOP, and XLM recently...still worth checking but they may be done with their major pump.  

I think KNC and MCO are the next to get big pumps. ;)

I missed the MONA opportunity though :(

These are the best five coins, at least until early 2018.

IF Nexus can deliver their vision...it could be one of the biggest coin.  However, it is a tall order so I'll wait.

Yes these altcoins does have compatibility and potential to give a good amount of profit not only in short term but also for a long term investment as well only if you invest a lot into these coin then you can expect a good amount of  profit as the values of these coins increases slow and steady

If you earn profits short time I think, it's possible from trade.I starting trading before 4 month.which coin is profitable for short time ,it's find out very difficult matter.Yet I think, Waves,XRP,MCO,LGD is very good coin for short time trade.

If you want to great profit in short time. I prefer Bitcoin because it is raise day by day in current market. This is one of the best short time investment. If you choose altcoins it will  helps to long time profit that means this is not suitable for short term. You should hold long term it is comfortable for great profit. So better you choose Bitcoin in current situation.

An exact newbie mistake. You cannot say, profits are determined and speculated on the basis of circumstances, not the popularity, especially in crypto trading. Do your own research will you, don't expect people to spoon feed you and you reap the benefit from it, the likeliness of you benefitting is very less because you may invest at the right time. Never ask people for trading directions, no one will help you. Everyone's selfish. Go out there and learn and then start trading.

Monacoin is an example of speculation and manipulation, I wouldn't buy it. But Monaco card, MCO is a good one to invest. They will have profit from debit card spendings and this will lift the price to upper zones.

I think the most safe and profitable investment option in short term is bitcoin. If you examine the graph, you will see how much it is rising in the short term

For me, short time is not my preference. I prefer long term but not so long. Maybe it called middle term around 1 month.

DGB has a good potential but is undervalued. It is also used by many traders for day trading and hence it is a good coin for short term trading.

What kind of profits are you looking to generate in the short term? If you are looking for a reasonable growth of 10% or 20% in a few months there are good chances some of the most established alts are able to deliver but if you want big profits you are going to need to invest in more risky altcoins with the issue that the risk of losing your money is much higher as well.

Find coins with low market cap ( Max $50.000.000) in the second and third page of CMC.

...Preferibble coins that are young and are second generation (good teams, solve real world problems beyond payments, has roadmap, good tech, etc )

Do you own research, cause any specific recommendation here will be someone trying to sell you his cheap bough tokens.

I think there very few great altcoins for short-term profit and sometimes they are too risky because the higher you invest the money you gonna makes. e.g. Bitconnect, IOTA, and Cardano.

What do you people do with short term profit?  Do you sell the btc for usd to your bank account or do you just keep it in btc?

Just keep short term profits in BTC or ETH. Avoids the tax record keeping until sold for USD.
Trading short term is hard so I am mostly holding until next major top.

If you wanna get profit in short time, I think you should choose altcoins which has a range of fluctuations in short time such as Bitzeny, Fedoracoin and Decentraland.... These coins will help you get your goal.

Short term investments are easy to make compared to long term because crypto market is a live and it can change any time so this makes it really hard to to make long term predictions.To make profit in short term you need to buy fast buy and sells. Go for the ones having low market cap, they are the ones who actually pump hard.

Short term is not the way to go in cryptocurrencies. If you want to have big profits you need to have patience. Why sell a coin for a 2x if it can be worth 20 times the price in  a year? Think bigger.

I always check coinmarketcap for a volume which looks good. There are so many altcoins to choose thats why I always check their status, that is volume, history and demands. Maybe this way we can earn short term profit.

It is a lots of coin,  you can ceck for new coin, search is good project about thats coin.  And check roadmap. It is short term or long term. If the coin is good,  there will be many project and roadmap.  Or you can check altcoin in bittrex.

Waves seems to do the job, bought it at 6$ days ago, now it's 10$ and I think 20$ could be reach

if I think the short term too risk, high risk even. for the benefit of high within a short should really do research, could not leave coin we are so without monitoring. always alert to see to see the value of the coin it. is up or down? is the right time to buy or sell? is support his good or not? is Dev team his suit or not? Why are you even aiming for a short-term profit? It is better if you are going to look for long-term profit because it helps a lot.

That is not a bad advice but you need to understand that most people want to become rich but there are not as much people willing to put the work in order to become rich and that is why you see people asking for advice in which coins to invest instead of learning themselves how to do that and then when they fail to make the money they wanted they begin to blame the people that gave them the advice.

What time frame are you looking for because short term profit is relative to different investor. I still believe Ethereum stands out and also is Dash and Litecoin

In your list, XRP is the only one you have chosen right to trade it. Have choice the lots of the top rated coins or the altcoins which are popular in the market.
I understand you are using coinmarketcap so choose the top 20 coins which has the growth for the last 7 days. Those coins will works better give you the short profit. For long term, major currencies only will give the income.
