Title: I speculate that 95% of all token announcements are fake
Post by: grendel25 on December 05, 2017, 06:09:55 AM
I speculate that 95% of all token announcements are fake.  Seriously, what kind of nerd sociopath puts on all out website announcements, airdrop coordination, token listing, eth20 coordination stuff... who does all this stuff for little if any gain?  Uber nerd sociopath is all I can think.  Congrats 2 u whoever you are.  lol

I agree with you, we all can say that most of the new coins are being made not to create a real value, vice versa they mainly focus on money.

Yes and this rate of being scam is increasing day by day. I think we are in a hype stage in initial coin offering usage.

I might tend to agree with you on a sweeping generalization, however, we should be reminded that the same accusations were put against a lot of early people who tried things out like Bitcoin, and even earlier before that people who tried new forms of digital money. Nerds, sociopaths, socially inept people. Others laughed at them and thought they were wasting their time.

What about Cryptokitties? I bet a lot of people thought the players were idiots too. And look at how popular it is and how much money it's made for a lot of people.
