Title: Am I late for the IOTA train?
Post by: Chroem on December 05, 2017, 11:54:10 AM
I've been watching IOTA for well over a week, and after all the news with Microsoft etc. I am convinced this coin could be the future of coins.
The price atm is at 3 dollars. Do you guys think it will go down?
Because it seems like im late to the party. :-/

What goes up will also come down at some point. Buy the next dip.
Was someone buying BTC in 2014 too late because it all already started in 2009?

Never buy at the top, IOTA has made more than x3 in last few days. 3$ for a supply of 2,779,530,283 coins is too much.

Nobody knows , nobody can tell you. IOTA offers some different technolgy than most other cryptocurrencies. Thats why it caught the interest of people but again most people want to get out rich from this scene. Now I think that every single coin is pumping (or maybe they are getting bigger exposure who knwos only time will tell).

Just don't invest some enormous amounts and lose it all, only invest what you can afford to lose. If IOTA goes mainstream you are not to late, same goes for bitcoin - if it goes mainstream you are not to late. But look at your options and try to see situation from your point of view as nobody knows what is the best thing to do, don't listen much to others but rather try to draw from your conclusions and come up with a plan.

I really think there is nothing late when it comes to Altcoin Investment and right now IOTA just pump much that it reach this certain level, And at certain point it will make a dip or a correction, This is what I think will happen to IOTA and many investors will sure ride this wave just like what it did to Bitcoin Cash but in my opinion it will not last and will end up in a DIP, But in my opinion the price of IOTA is still cheap so make a move now before it goes a great mile.

I think few days after the bittrex listing IOTA will drop and hold about 1,5 dollars. After that I believe in strong bull run.

If it is a project that will be used in the future like the ones you mentioned; The train did not escape. But I did not get any IOTA because I had more confidence in ETH.

I just feel IOTA is going to be one of the big 4 coins on the market in future. I could see it as a 100 dollar or 200 dollar coin in a year? Don't know if ths a far stretch, but it's what I feel. Though I believe the huge hype atm, is making the coin more worth than it really is atm. I really want to get it at 1-2 dollars.

According to some TA's I reviewed on Tradingview.com the dip should begin soon. I guess a correction to 2$ or 1.5$ is possible looking at former resistence points which may turn to support. We will see. Anyway, bright future for the coin if they are able to succeed with their cooperations and the tangle it self.

I don't believe there will be correction in iota. The price is realistic and in those pump times, they rise very hard without stopping and iota is exactly doing this. It's not a regular coin pump, it's start of a new trend.

It looks like correction already started, nobody can be pumped without correction on x10 in a month, IMHO should look another coin. It has too big capitalization for such movements.

If you are planing to invest in it as a short term investment yes you are late because it made a peak and it would not be a smart move to buy and sell it quickly. On the other hand if you are planing to make a long term investment IOTA still has lots of room to grow. You can still benefit from it in long term.

No you are not late for this train, also I don't give a shit about microsoft, they flirt with every coin. But for short term purposes you are definetely late

Same here, mate. But worry not because when a certain coin experiences a very high spike, there will always be a correction that follows. I have been following IOTA but was not able to join the party as well because I am focusing on Bitcoin growth more. It seems the price of Bitcoin will hit $12,000 so instead of looking for some other altcoins I went almost all in to Bitcoin. But by the time IOTA will go down, I will not let the opportunity pass by.

I think IOTA is just getting started. Just imagine the 1.4 trillion IoT industry. It is going to be so huge!

IOTA is going to be huge in 2018, you just have to decide at what moment you want to invest.

Do you think IOTA can go past 10$ with so much supply?

That would mean the market cap would be in billions with the supply...2.7 billion miota we have

When I saw price for Dash 15$ in January 2017, I also thought that price is big because in december 2016 price was 3-5$

Can someone give me the information again about IOTA like the exchanges, bitcointalk ann thread, and the other stuff I can use to check IOTA. I hope it is not too late for me when I first saw this it was like a few cents I remember. All I can say is hoping for the next dip before I can invest.

What is happening in IOTA right now I am pretty sure there would be lows on that too. Possibly a dip that will last for a few days then it will go up again. With the current volume I would assume that other coins with high total supply can also experience an increase on value just like what IOTA is experiencing now.

Barely over a week since it was under 1$ though, and now it's around 3.5$. While 10$ is indeed a lot, it's still well below ETH. It might not happen immediately, but it "can" definitely happen. Heck, it might even happen soon if the announcements keeps rolling in, if the new wallet is awesome and the FOMO continues.

I think so you are late. Price is already pumped.
I do not think the price will go up any further. Finding different coins can provide a better investment :)

IOTA is the next big thing. Imagine 0.2 ETH going to 8, here are we right now. IOtA was at 0.17 and now going to the moon. I like it.

For me, there is no time that is late, but one thing is certain, when there is a rise in price, there is always a possibility for the price to also fall. A more reason why the price of altcoins falls is because of rise in bitcoin price, so time will come when IOTA will go higher than it is now.

missed the train??
did you though the same when BTC was worth a few pennys in 2009 , or Ethereum a few bucks this year?
People that dont want to see IOTA among the 3 first coins.. is just plain blind or stupid.. tangle is BY FAR better than blockchain.. IOTA will surpass anything known .. in 2 years 100$ easily.. Now there must come someone to blame me "the coin supply is too high . blabla bla" so what? isnt BTC valued at 150billions? yes.. it is worth it? no..... in case of IOTA.. i  strongly think it deserves at least the same recognition and value than BTC

I have also been following iota price after hearing and read here that good news is coming from the developers and since then its price has been appreciating and we have been having consistently price upward movement.  I think now still remains the best time to buy iota or miota as this coin seen to have one of the best technology.
