Title: btcguild email addresses now in the hands of spammers Post by: Mad7Scientist on December 05, 2017, 03:31:46 PM On Sunday 2017-12-03 I got my first email spam from my btcguild.com email address. There have been at least two more since then.
The interesting part is that another email address that was used right around the same time also received the exact same junk mail. According to my records, it was used for for some advertisement called exclusivetrainingprofits.com and also was used in some way related to either receiving mail from or sending mail to a compromised Yahoo Mail account. These spammers must compile big lists of email address for various sources. What's interesting is that it has been at least 4 years since these addresses were used. Do the spammers sit on these address for 4 years? |
