Are You an extrovert or introvert? How can this affect your image as a person.

My personality is introverted because I tend to like calm conditions, happy to be alone, reflecting what I do. I have a tendency to stay away from interactions with new things.

because I am very happy to do solitary activities (can be done alone without the help of others). activities such as writing, reading, operating computers, watching movies, fishing and so on .

I am an introvert, I think. I hate crowds with new people because it makes me uncomfortable and seeing new faces makes me want to withdraw myself from the crowd. I am more of a stick to a set group of friends.

Ambivert.  I love being alone when i feel alone and i also love being with friends.  I love myself even more.  So I'm neither extovert or an introvert.  And it is awesome.

I am describing myself as a complete introvert. I don want be in crowded places and I do not share time with other people . Because being with other people makes me nervous and I cannot be as I am in front of others.

I think i'm extrovert, however sometimes i love to be alone.

Extrovert.
It doesn't mean I don't like to be alone. All it means is getting acquainted with new people and lots of talking and social activities do not exhaust me.

Introvert.  Being alone is being alive.  It is being in a place where you find comfort.  Where you have no one to talk to or give opinions about you.  Being able to express yourself throughsilence.  Being an introvert is ideal. Not having anyone to talk about others and just be happy all by myself makes a genuine happiness.

Im an extrovert person. I love adventures and going out with family and friends. But sometimes I like to be alone and just watch movies.

It's generally thought that shyness goes hand in hand with introversion, but many introverts simply prefer solitary to social activities.

Shyness is a common feature. So there is nothing wrong with you if you are inclined to be more silent, serious or abstinent. But extreme shyness can be a real problem.  least it may not allow you to have friends

Aw, thanks bro, me too I am introvert, I find it hard when I was studying at school , everyone of them ask me the same question "what's wrong with you?" (Lol). It hurts you know? Haha but I am used to these kind of things.

I'm an introvert, I love being alone, I can't stand being with other people for a very long period of time, I don't know how to express myself to others. I don't know how to communicate well with other people specially to someone I just met, I am always shy and I don't like talking to others I'm not so close with. But sometimes I also want to go out with my friends.

I am introvert, I love being alone and do things myself but sometimes this doesn't help me at all to develop my personality to overcome shyness and be able get along with different people

Firstly, many very intelligent people are introvert in essence, therefore, they can easily show their extrovert side when needed to. Secondly, a lot of primary extrovert persons can benefit from social factor but can feel empty when being alone (this is typical for artists, especially actors). And lastly, a great number of people communicate via a virtual environment.

I used to think of myself as an introvert but that was until I met some real introverts. :D I know a guy that lives his room only to get food from the kitchen. And his family is nice and would like to spend time with him but he prefers to sit alone the whole time. I always thought that being an introvert means you're scared of meeting other people and prefer to be alone than in a crowd, but some people are taking it to another level isolating themselves from their friends and family.

I'm very intr0verted, but - when it's necessary - I can socialize easily.
Btw, this costs me a lot of energy, so I need a real good motivation

I'd say both, because it also depends on your mood, it doesnt actually mean that if youre alone and always quiet you're already an introvert, thats way too simple and way too early to judge, sometimes you also need friends in your life thats how people observed an introver and an extrovert.

Most people are mistaken to take me as an extravert. this is a mask. I am an intrevert by nature. Or probably I am close to ambivert.

i am an introvert. My temperament is MELANCHOLIC so my characteristics are Introvert, loner, great thinker, genius-prone, very artistic and creative, often found alone in thought, perfectionist, slow-paced, great understanding of tasks and systems, a critical and challenging mind, and seeing both the pitfalls and the end results of a project undertaken. Extremely moody, suffer from “black” depressions, reject people, set standards neither they nor anyone else can meet, develop habits that are very hard to break, have suicidal tendencies, low self-esteem and are pessimistic.

I'm an introvert. I hate crowds, I hate too much noise. Benefits of being an introvert is that we are calm and have peace of mind.
It really benefited me being an introvert especially managing my people. They like how calm I am in working with them.

I am more on introvert type of a person, I choose to be along working, I am a home body person I would rather stay at home rather than going out with other people.. I feel I accomplish more when I am alone.. I'm still not used with many people specially when standing in front of them like when I am on the stage.. being introvert is also has negative effect but it can be develop as long as I am ready to accept the changes.

I always want to be alone when going somewhere. I always avoided crowd people, family gathering or social activities as much as I can avoid.

That's what I do. Don't like crowds and all those noisy gatherings and annoying social activities

I am a introvert,  and i dont think it can affect your image as a person,  we may have differences on approach in life.  People may not see us the way they want us to be,  but at the end of the day what matters is being true to yourself for your inner peace.

Introvert is a feeling of being comfortable of being alone, and extrovert is a being comfortable with others. i don't think so that being either introvert or extrovert can affect a image of a person. Because we have different insights and approaches in life. I love being alone, I almost spend my whole day alone.

An introvert. INTJ in the Myers-Briggs typology. Not an extreme one, but socialising and being in places with a lot of other people drains me of energy. However, I do need friends, social contact and significant relationships.
I donțt think other people look at me in terms of ”oh, she's an introvert", I believe this characteristic is not top of mind when it comes to categorizing the others.

I rather to categories myself into a INTROVERT because socializing makes me uncomfortable, it drains my energy, while being alone is I must say it energize me, I love being alone, My creativity and my originality only comes out when I'm alone. Being Introvert or extrovert doesn't affects ones life because we have different approaches and strategies in life.

Naturally I am an introvert, but when I need be social for work or friend related things I can come off as an extrovert. Just for short bursts.

I guess there both benefits and weakness for being either an introvert or extrovert. I know people who are able to switch from being an extro to into and vice versa and i guess that is the best. Being an intro helps in concentration and sometimes meditation but a big con is becoming timid and shy with time and this could breed laziness while being an extrovert makes you inquisitive and outspoken which is a good leadership quality you might also say the wrong thing if you are not careful sometimes and this could land you in troubles

Introvert yet an extrovert at the same time. I love peace and quiet but i also love having my friends around. Well, it was quite hard to tell where i am at.

Well first of all, introverts wouldn't probably care about what image they present to others. I consider myself leaning more on the introvert side than the extrovert though i'm not entirely an introvert. I sometimes lacknthe patience dealing with other people's drama so i prefer to be with myself

Fortunately, I am an ambivert. Being an ambivert is somewhat a blessing in disguise simply because I am capable of adjusting into generally any situation. Depending on my mood, I would sometimes like to be alone and simply stay inside the house and practically do nothing productive. While sometimes, I also like to hang-out with my friends and go somewhere to have a few drinks or so.

Intro vs. Extro, I think each of these 2 has pros and cons...

I'm an introvert. I like to be alone, and I don't like noisy. Somehow it's really hard being an introvert since we don't have many friends, so we are not really good at socialisation. The best thing is an introvert can keep a secret well because they don't like talk too much to anyone. They're trustworthy.

I think I'm introvert, but it's good to be balanced person, so maybe I need to move a bit towards extrovert :)
