Title: What's the max length exhaust hose? Post by: MedvedTrader on December 06, 2017, 05:50:18 AM If I use 5" exhaust hose for an S9, what's the max length that the fan can push through without causing problems? The hose will make a 90 angle and go straight up...
Basically, what I want to do is to run it in the garage, have the hose move the hot air to the garage attic and have the 1000 CFM gable fan blow the hot air outside. Feasible? Post by: Didley1JT on December 07, 2017, 01:32:52 PM Is the 90 degree turn the total change in direction (over a long distance) or are you coming straight from the miner with a 90 degree elbow?
Limit the bends in the duct as much as possible, since each bend represents a then higher fan requirement. If you need to turn 90 degrees, do it gradually and avoid sharp angles. What is your setup in the attic, if you can set your miners up in the attic pointing towards the exhaust fan you wont have to worry about ducting.
