Title: Price of Anminer S9 on BTT is... Post by: stelee68 on December 06, 2017, 07:12:13 AM really getting ridiculous.
I noted many forumers posting WTB miners, and equally nos of sellers reselling their S9 at avg USD$4500~$5000. Hello? Many of the used S9 are earlier batches bought from Bitmain at approximately USD$1K and had been used for months. Yes I understand the need for time cost adjustments, but paying 3~4 times the original purchase for a used unit is beyond me. For all we know the chips could be near end-of-life. Honestly, I think its irrational to pay such a premium price for an used item. Regardless, I am planning a trip to China Shenzhen to buy some S9 over the counter instead. |
