What do you think people? Bitcoin Cash has certainly seen some positive support from the bitcoin community, its risen value is a proof of that.
Market cap is also growing, and I know many people have not yet even claimed it from their seeds because they are expecting it to grow much higher than its current value.
So what do you think? Is it gonna beat Ethereum and take up the second position at market cap?

For me it is not possible. Bitcoin cash is too fresh. Ethereum have bigger support and look better for more people. I think BTC cash will grow high but not so high like ethereum

First dapps built on ethereum but it's hurting the network at the same time. When the bitcoin cash still on the debate about the real bitcoin with the bitcoin core. And ether gonna evolve anytime.

It didn't already pass it momentarily and I wouldn't be surprised to see it pass again but I think that longer term bitcoin will take back a lot of the use that transfered to bitcoin cash and hurt bitcoin cash's price. As well as that I see ethereum only getting stronger and it will probably reach $1000 or more in the coming year which will take it away from bitcoin cash in the battle for second place.

Are you serious? The price has only went up because the dev's decided to create a huge fud over this coin, why do you think that bitcoin dropped that much and bcash rised a lot during the first week of november?

Ethereum is too long with us and has better future to be worse than bitcoin cash. it is really impossible to btc cash grow higher than eth. You do not know much about it

I will explain you why ethereum can not be replaced by bitcoin cash, it is very easy to explain:

1 - Bitcoin cash does not offer anything that can be useful, ethereum is a smart contract provider, it can help the whole community a lot, not just by giving money to the investors, probably 60% of the total altcoins are based on ethereum technology.

2- Bitcoin cash is just a pump/dump situation, ethereum has went up only because it is a game-changer, it revolutionated the whole crypto ecosystem during the last few months, and bcash did not.

If I've learned anything from this world is that everything can happen. Just the fact that people might think that indicates that this event is possible. In any case I bought a small sum to not stay one day with regret

It can surpass ethereum for only temporary of time. Ethereum has some ongoing problems in its network and this affected ether prices negatively. Bitcoin cahsers may want to benefit from this weakness.

ethereum network has big problem now. they have to solve it. there are 21k transaction now pending. it has start 2th December but it is decrease since yesterday hopefully will be normal soon.
2018 will be good year for ethereum. btc is rising and maybe can stop at 15k than eth will rise to 0.07 - 0.1 btc. bitcoin cash has no chance to pass eth , there is a big dump waiting for btc cash. so dont worry guys. eth is still best altcoin on market.

With that said, I don't think that Bitcoin Cash can overrun Ethereum just by looking at the marketcap. Also there's the issue of Bitcoin Cash as pump-and-dump by the those people who manipulates from behind. Short term: Maybe, but Long Term: I doubt it.

The answer is no. I don't even think it can stay within top 10 coins next year. Lots of real project will pass that cheap bitcoin fork. This is ineavitable for bitcoin cash next year. You will see.

It could because anything can happen which has been proven multiple times over in crypto but I think it is highly unlikely. If however by chance it does pass ETH then I think BTC is in for a mini scare as well and I put that outside the realm of possibility for now. Would not be shocked to be proven wrong though will just have to switch ships.

Ethereum is more likely to bitcoin it has establish its position in the marketcap, but as you said bitcoin cash supported by investors it is not possible that it would surpass ethereum, in the crypto world nothing is impossible when we talk about prices and position in the marketcap because it always depend on the growing demand of the coin and investors investing on it.

Bitcoin cash has nothing. That's why the bitcoin cash will never surpass ethereum. or bitcoin cash already surpassed by the ripple. But the fact the only serious competitor for the bitcoin is ripple itself.

BCash will not surpass Ethereum for the number #2 spot ever. Ethereum has a bigger support base and widely used and established among corporation and a platform for ICOs. BCash is just a fork of BTC and there has been no signs of adoption yet mainstream except for those who support it. It will be hard to overthrow ethereum unless there is a compromise somewhere or another hack.

lol, havent you guys not seen the market charts? bitcoincash is indeed already surpassed and beat etherium. etherium is now on the third spot and bitcoincash is currently sitting on the second spot next to bitcoin. sure etherium has a much bigger support but bitcoincash is also much better in terms of usage because it is more faster than etherium and bitcoin in terms of processing time due to the fact that bitcoincash has a bigger blocks and lightning network support. bitcoincash is also backed by miners, developers and some investors.

If it had surpassed then good for Bitcoin Cash, but although it had surpassed recently Ethereum this coin still has a lot to prove. I still personally choose Ethereum over Bitcoin Cash although Ethereum has slow progression but I preferred its blockchain than the others.

yes etherium has been already knocked down by bitcoincash but i still prefer and choose etherium over bitcoincash beacuse etherium is stil more usefull because it can be used as a gas when trading or sending your altcoins and tokens to some other wallets and online exchanges and also etherium is more stable and now it is currently increasing evenly ,soon etherium will do a revenge on bitcoincash. bitcoincash for me is just a pump and dump coin and has nothing more to offer.

Both Bitcoin Cash and ETH are good coins. However, They will grow together and rotate in second and third place. If you have a big fund, investing in ETH or Bitcoin cash is the good way to earn money

I think bitcoin cash can pass ethereum but I don't know when it will happen. bitcoin cash has the chance to pass and be number two position in coinmarketcap because I see in a few weeks ago that bitcoin cash reaches the highest price but now, unfortunately, the price is down. but I still waiting another time for bitcoin cash to back the increase. many of us trade bitcoin cash and they are really making a lot of profit from the coin because they bought while the price is cheap.

Bitcoin Cash is growing due to the influence and effect of Bitcoin.
The price of Bitcoin Cash is $1000+ now and Ethereum is about $700+ now, soon enough, there will be a regulation.
