Title: A few Bitcoin Questions
Post by: JumboCactuar on December 06, 2017, 03:32:23 PM
 8) Probably asked a lot but is now still a good time to invest? even 0.1 BTC ?

:) What happened to BTC-E? years ago i traded on here with coins, so glad i took them out before

 >:( Has anyone lost BTC or had some stolen? i lost about 12 BTC back in 2012, nothing really then but now it would be life changing for me

I guess 99% of people who know of bitcoin regret not jumping on early. Though most would have probably cashed at $1k per coin or below, Never expected this price

Thanks

In my own opinion, still YES. If you are a long term holder, buying now and buying when it dipped doesn't really matter. I've been actually waiting for BTC to dip for a few days now but it still stayed at the rate of $11k so I guess if you have the funds, buy now and just check again later.

1. it depends: everybody must make their own choices and I will not anser that one
2. BTC-e was seized by US government, they tried to reopen later and I think they succeeded, they may have a different address though, you might want to google them
3. a lot of people had BTC stolen :) you can protect yourself with a use of a hardware wallet

No IMO, due to the rapid and unpredictable price changes that have been happening during this year.  However, if you do decide to do it, remember that it doesn't matter how much BTC you're buying, it matters what the value of that BTC is.

After being seized by the US government, they reopened and reimbursed 55% of their users' funds.  They are still going but it would be a huge risk to try trading on there due to the possibility of them being seized again.

No, not personally.  It's very surprisingly common though.
