Reason for Taking out a Loan: Cold snap killed my car battery and I'm unable to get a new one to replace it until I get paid on Friday. I would be putting this toward a new battery tonight to be sure that I'll be able to get to work tomorrow+Friday. No, I am looking for a small loan with my bct account as collateral. He was asking if I had Steam items to offer as additional collateral.. I mentioned the Steam game keys that I have been looking to sell - to use as additional collateral for the loan (or sell the game keys outright, based on whatever potential agreement we could reach.) I would like to continue being a part of the bct community and I'm not wanting to end up losing my account (this is my main and only account), so I fully intend to repay the loan to get my account back. Your explication is perfectly logic, because if you loose your account you will not be able to make a new one and "continue being a part of the bct community". You should said this from the begining and all the lenders would jump to provide you with the "loan". (This is all sarcasm, just in case...) I realize that... and no matter if an agreement had been made using my steam keys as additional collateral or not, I still would have made good on repayment of the loan as agreed upon. He brought up the Steam item idea, I coincidentally have extra Steam game keys (though not items) and I have virtually nothing else I can think of that I could offer up as collateral. I was actually going to offer to throw in whatever key(s) for free, just as an added incentive for helping me out - not as any part of my collateral.
