Chandler Guo, a Chinese cryptocurrency investor, recently releaved he is launching a Bitcoin-based fork that will use the ticker "GOD". Guo gave away some details and said that the project will start on the 25th of December. He also said there will not a premine.  ::)

How do you guys think about this one? It will has good or bad effect to Bitcoin?

It will have absolutely no effect on Bitcoin because it is just another shitcoin.
It seems that Bitcoin hard forks are the new ICOs in terms of popularity.
This particular one is said to offer no actual value whatsoever unlike Cash which changes the block size and others.
He is just forking to give 'free candy' to Bitcoin holders (he says that in his tweet).

Useless coins are coming out of nowhere for no reason. Developers should rather focus on fixing the actual problems of the crypto instead of just attempting to get some money out of some useless coins.

Another one? I think people should stop this right now because this ia getting ridiculous and irrelevant  they should make an actual and original coin and not by mean of forking out of bitcoin and this will be a problem why? What if during the fork something bad happen or if their software hasn't a replay protection the bitcoin network will suffer anyways people will just dump this coin to btc anyways

I think they'r forcing too much the hard forks in relation to what has to be done.
But I may be wrong and everything will go smooth as alway, let's hope for success.

For a brief moment I thought the topic is a mistype, it's all about bitcoin gold.
And I hoped, I hoped so much that it's not another coin.

But the first line shattered my hope in GOD knows how many pieces.

These coins are of no use, they just do these forks for profit. These useless forks will only affect bitcoin's price and make it more unstable

Let him do it. I hope new shitcoins get dumped quickly and people will lose interest in making new forks that don't bring any significant improvements. The world of cryptos is colorful as it is, we don't need to get a new coin every month and we don't need new BTC forks. Personally, I'm ok with free money regardless of the form they come in, but this is starting to get ridiculous. Bitcoin god? What's next, bitcoin demigod? :D

Probably would not have much effect on bitcoin although other bitcoin-based forks, such as those already existed, BCH (bitcoin Cash), BTG (bitcoin gold) and others, although high direct value but less support I think. many coins have sprung up lately, but bitcoin remains it's mother of crypto.

Another shit coin that will not help stabilize the bitcoin market. Why people keeps on making this? I think they are just making this for a profit aight? The new face of ICO? hmm more like an airdrop with a twist. I wonder if the creator of this forks are not the same with other forks?

I don't think it will attract the attention of the investors after seeing bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold goes down and got overpowered by bitcoin. It is a ridiculous idea to make another coin from bitcoin then name it bitcoin "God" since the project starts at December 25 which is Christmas. What is the purpose of the coin, vision and mission is one thing that is necessary for a coin to be trusted and I don't see it from bitcoin "God", and last thing a Chinese which is probably a buddhist shouldn't create a coin on Christmas and name it bitcoin "God" what an Irony I don't see any reason of him creating a new coin but to gain profit.

Everyone that gets one of these coins from owning btc will dump as soon as they get it! What a joke coin (god) come one! Will we see a BTC buddha next! Seriously!

No purpose, just people trying to get free money.
These jokes will end soon. Hopefully anyway!

It won't have any negative effect on bitcoin. Developers are just coming out with nomenclature that has resamblance with bitcoin just for marketing convenience.
