Title: What if your money was locked into exchanges?
Post by: johnrickdalaygon on December 07, 2017, 03:31:14 AM
I have deposited a lot of ethereum on the exchanges and then i sell it to bitcoin then the problem is i can't withdraw my money because my verification is still ongoing. My question is, what if the verification will locked forever? How will you handle this kind of situation?

Can you please suggest all legit exchanges without bringing or verifying your identity? Thank you in advance.

there is not much you can do! these are not regulated exchanges and it is a hard and long process to start a lawsuit against them, specially if the money you invested for trading on that exchange is not huge it won't be worth the hassle. and that is how they scam you!

and there are no legit exchanges apart from decentralized exchanges that have no third party to begin with. just recently one of the biggest altcoin exchanges called bittrex scammed thousands of their users and stole their money

A lot of exchanges have smaller withdraw amounts if you are not verified yet. I think Kucoin exchange is a pretty decent exchange. What exchanges are you using right now? Because i think most exchanges let you withdraw at least 1btc worth before you even need to show I.D or anything which at todays prices is a lot! I have traded at Bittrex, Kucoin, Binance, cryptopia, yobit, mercatox, livewire, coinexchange and etherdelta and all of them you could do this. I wouldn't even send any coins to an exchange that didn't let you withdraw anything from the onset tbh.

Of course you can have the support of that exchange to help you with. They wouldn't like that their reputation would be dirty, but you do have to verify your account though. They are just protecting your account.

Verification always their in exchanges. please be patient. everything going to be ok. they need verifications because of the proof and the credibility.

they have to manage the capital . but in ED you can work without delay. they are decentralized exchange.

this is why make exchange service so risky even trusted sites start scam/hard rules.

try to make less than 1000$ exchange and move up if you lost some money

Are there exchanges out there, which allow you to pick your transaction fee? I have a transaction which is still not confirmed, and although it is not a lot of money, I would have gladly paid a couple more bucks and enjoy some peace of mind right now. Unless exchanges offer this option, getting stuck in verification is always a danger in my opinion.
