It looks like a joke, but it is a tool to tackle the hard issues with humour. You can also stay anonymous, if you want and this gives you scope to tackle controversial issues, without all the personal attacks. <People commenting on your weight or facial features etc.>
As long as we are having fun, I see no reason why we should not use puppets and cartoons.
