I mined with them back in 2014, that time it was barely profitable (but free trial so why not). I affraid they implemented some features to prevent people using free trials for mining.
One thing is sure, if it would be profitable it would have been sold out already.

Nah, mining is way too expensive and won’t likely result in any profit.

You are better off just buying some Bitcoin or other coins.
Automatic Trading with Chain Group (https://chain.group/61185) works nice too.

It's not legal, MS will prevent you from opening additional MS related account (I know lol)

It's not profitable, but I did learn a few things. Rather try staking, I've tried a number of mining options and if you are not a hardware expert - stay away.

Just my 2c

It is not profitable, and Microsoft Azure prevents you from mining.

I tried mining with Azure, because i had access to some free account via the university. After one week Microsoft called me and asked at what purpose I was using the server   :-\
