If we follow this pattern, on the next September the price will be over one million dollars, that is insane and that is the main reason of why this bullish trend needs to stop. It will touch that price, but it will take some time.


Well we already touched that price today in a few exchanges, gdax touched a $19200 for every btc today, but now it dropped to $16400 each

i've given up making predictions. this is all making my head spin.

This is a mix of lightning network news and a mix of CME and Nasdaq Futures, and even other people that i didn't even knew had futures are getting in. We are going to find out soon how sustainable the bull-run is.

Beware of scammers predicting huge crashes, they just want to buy your cheap Bitcoin on the dip. We will correct, NOT crash.

All those kinds of threads are so useless and we got hundreds of them now.
Do yourself a favor and use the search bar next time please!If it's 10k, 20, 50k etc. doesn't matter.

The next logical question you should ask is how big and long the coming correction will be?!
And furthermore Bitcoin doesn't care if you love it or not.
This is the honeybadger and will do whatever it wants. And I can assure you it will hurt you  from time to time. Extremely bad, when you not expect it.

Bitcoin has gotten so crazy this past month, and even crazier this past week, that there is no point to predictions anymore haha. Who could have predicted it would go up $8000 in what like 3 or 4 days?!

I think $70k is definitely doable for 2018, but it could easily be $30k more than that or $30k less than that.

I guess so, maybe the end of this year can reach $19,000 and it can be sure to see the fast growing bitcoin today, I estimate the end of 2018 will be more than $70,000, but I am a little curious about the coming correction. Not only am I afraid of correction but a lot of people too, hoping only good hope.

I would not have agreed that this could happen if you had asked a month ago, but at this rate it is entirely possible. I still think there is a chance if a correction soon but there is a lot of uncertainty lately because of the futures market which is new territory for cryptocurrencies.

There is also the potential for Nasdaq funds to include Bitcoins. These two issues could either crash Bitcoin if people short sell, or it could make it go to the Moon.

If this keep happening, yes it will happen so the question only whenever you dare to keep invest on bitcoin or not.
I can see bitcoin is not uptrend but it doesn't change the fact that bitcoin trading still consider as risky investation

if we're thinking about it and looking at our current movement i think we have a possibility to reach that point,
indeed it's quite money but it's possible to see that because everything can be happen with it in the next hours just like before.
but if we're moving toward that level without another improvement or news or innovation or something similiar to that i am afraid it will only become a bubble in the future and it's just matter of time for it to burst.
for me i do not hope to see it around that point at this moment or next year because it's not worth that much.
what we're aiming for is global implementation,if we're moving toward that level how can people start to use it ?
what i mean is how much that we need to spend for every transaction that we will make?
people will not using it absolutely,and slowly but sure i believe Bitcoin will lose its value.
so in my opinion,an ideal price for Bitcoin right now should be around $20.000~$25.000 no more than that until we're finding a way to cover up our weakness.

It is true that there is no accurate speculation, therefore all numbers are wrong, but then i have a strong feeling that it will still hit at $70,000 before it will go down, that’s why i am taking the chance too
 to dance with the flow while the bitcoin keeps going high, though there is a risk too

Price can even be $700.000 by the end of 2018. It can happen there will be no bear trend till then but the price of Bitcoin just growing. When there there is retracement there is so much fresh money trying to enter Bitcoin on dumps that those dumps last max few days.  We could come to the vertical line on the S curve. No one cant tell us that until we will be on top of it.

How can we predict the same percentage will maintain the same level of improvements?
Realize, We're just applying our expectations about market growing. It can be good at some point if we have a positive view in bitcoin but we could keep some practical things involving here about the growth.
If there any new exchanges involving to bitcoin or any huge investments gonna made then its strong reason to stick with a growth. Above prediction by novogratz is good to hear and eager to see the hit.

Nope. Simply impossible.
Already we see governments cracking down on Bitcoin.
It is becoming an environmental disaster but Bitcoiners in large are willing to pretens the problem doesn't exist just because they want more dollars.
Within 6 months governments globally will take action against Bitcoin to protect our world from further destruction by Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is growing at breakneck speed. I can't predict it. I once said that $ 17,000 is not possible this year but it happened. current trend of Bitcoin too crazy. if it continue with this growth 70k$ can happen. but don't be too gods Bitcoin. It can kill you at anytime

Here we don't know that what will happen to the price within this week so it is difficult for us to answer that whether it will reach 70,000$ by the end of 2018 or not because the price of Bitcoin is really unpredictable .We can't make calculations on the basis of the  current growth rate because the growth rate is not stable .Some time it is high and sometimes it is low.

I think yes will reach $ 70000 before the end of 2018 because now it is too high for bitcoin and maybe now it will take a bitcoin or invest it for a long term. And I think that many sell their bitcoin because the christmas is near and the bitcoin price falls and before christmas the bitcoin increases.

I don't think it will achieve that price. Now everything seems possible because the price is going up like crazy and I can't say the word impossibe when it comes to Bitcoin but even from current perspective 70000$ looks exaggerated. It's hard to predict the rate of further growth, the volatility is too high but probaby the price might touch 30000$ in the next year.

The thing is past performance will never be a good indicator of future performance. While i still believe that bitcoin will go up for at least the next 2-3 months i don't think that $70k is going to happen, it's just too big of a number even in the best of scenarios.

I'd say 50-60k max, and then we'll see some profit takers causing panic dumping.

End of 2018 could see BTC peak like I said at $50-60k, or it could see bitcoin go through a series of corrections that brings it price down below $10k.

Current rate of rise tell the different story from your one buddy if bitcoin keep on going like now then It will be above 100k till the end of 2018 because as we have seen that bitcoin rises 5000 in previous two days and this rate is very fast as compare to the past and will be more faster as there are many regions who are still thinking to adopt and when they will come this will make market jumping to the more higher value.
