Which is the most promising cryptocurrency? Let's make a list with top 20 cryptocurrencies which can give us max profit in 2018

i believe in eth so i'd say that above others.

of course, you then have erc 20 tokens on top of eth and theres many promising ones of thos. OMG would be right up there for me, possiblye DICE as well. XRP as an actual currency could do well in terms of margin of profit and also lite coin. i think litecoin may put another $50 per coin this year. it's been very up and down though for the last three months.

There are many good cryptop currency which have agood future and I am sure they can give us good profit in 2018...

That is bullshit, the only ones from that list that are going to be a big shot during the next year is just bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, monero and iota (which is not on that list)

Bitcoin will always be bullish, so dont even hesitate about buying or stocking this coin in your portfolio.

Fldc a promising coin? mate, nobody knows what the heck is that coin, so dont put this in here, because the op is just a new guy in here and probably does not even know what are you trying to say.

xlm is a good shot for a long term, but a looong long term, more than five months i guess.

I believe that the next year will be the year of privacy coins. There will appear many regulations so they will be highly in demand for sure. So here is the list: Monero, Dash, Zec, PivX, Verge, Zen and so on ;)

Iota should definitely be on the list, I absolutely agree with you. As I see it, this is the only coin actually using other than blockchain technology and thus able to solve the main problems which are very obvious with btc but are perhaps awaiting us in case of any blockchain superpopular coin. Eth is in big troubles and I'm not sure it can remain on top with them.
I think you are a bit wrong about btc, though. Sure, it's not a really good coin, but it is very popular and gets even more popular every day, so I guess it is a rather safe and promising investment. It has proved already that no price is too high, I guess.

In 2018 i think Ethereum will be a big hit, like it was in 2017. Especially because the ratio right now is extremely low - buying Eth with btc profits seems like a no brainer for most people into crypto (and even more to those that believe in ethereum's potential to close the gap vs bitcoin in the upcoming years)

I believe in a good growth of ETH next year, very promising and convenient on its basis goes most projects. I think he has a good future.

I think the most promising coin is DeepOnion because they will release DeepSend in the next month or so and they will be working on smart contract for release in the 2Q of 2018.  These are huge developments and if they roll out as flawlessly as past developments by the DeepOnion Devs, i.e. DeepVault, then the sky is the limit.

Another coin that I think could do big things in 2018 is Quark.  Many of those old school coins have seen renewed interest in 2017 and Quark is showing signs that some people are buying.

It's always good to bet on Ethereum in my book as well.  Its seen its growth stagnate in these past few months but I think it will take off again.  Similar story with Litecoin.

Bitcore has a lot of potential of booming as well because IMO its the best real non-litecoin alternative to Bitcoin.  It's superior to BCASH and BGOLD in my book.

UBIQ is undervalued but I don't know if it will finally catch the interest it deserves.

PIRL is a decent gamble but I don't think it will grow too much more in the immediate future; its still very new.

We might wait for at least one year to see which one is the most promising apart from bitcoin. Because most coins are new.

There are so many new coins that are emerging now, and its all getting more confusing in choosing a particular one to invest in.
Waiting For a year or even two years to see the improvement of the coin before investing will show the strength of that coin for surviving among other coins and also shows how dedicated the developers are. 
But one negative thing there is that, if you monitor that long, the chance of buying a good coin at a lower price will just pass you by.

So obviously, it's where all my investments are.

I believe that would be bitcoin just look at it now although face with many challenges and ups and down also forks it has shown why it is good for investment for long term and you will get great amounts of profit if you put your money into it. I do see some potential in LTC and ETH you can probably make profit for short term but dont stay long. Other coin are just shit.

When it comes to this such questions there is only one answer that everyone will be speak of and there's no doubt that it is BTC.

I'm depending the list of top 20 cryptocurrencies at the coinmarketcap, it's reliable though there are some coins that shouldn't be there and there are others that are undervalued but still I'm using that site for the top lists.

Umm probably Bitcoin will stand as the king of the market in the coming years. Other than Btc, i think Ethereum,Dash and Stratis are the most promising cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin is the most promising cryptocurrency of all. Alts are totally on red as of this moment but I don't think that it will stay longer but if talking with this such topics and investments bitcoin will remain to be the best of them all. But I'm changing from time to time with those coins on my choice.

Why everybody belive in Ripple ?

I'm surprised to see XCP's growth and feel it's the next ETH in the market. I started trading in this coin when it's price was less than $8 and now it is as high as $31 in just 2 weeks. Their wallet counterparty is also well-known and the price has been on a rise with BTC/ETH. ETH is still stable unlike BTC that's currently too volatile. The next coin I feel is promising is Stellar which has the potential of reaching $0.5 soon.

The first is always Bitcoin as the grandfather, but the rest for what I believe in are ETH with their future plans. Surely right now is still in buyzone.
also Dash is powerful with masternode and I think next is XEM/NEM.
LTC with promising roadmap and core team.
Neo will be big again soon. I think China will do something and think about this coin again.
also Strat used to take or become powerful when btc's in correction

BTC still comes first since it is marketable in almost any country.  Ethereum is also needed to get BTC and usually needed as gas to trade ERC20 coins.

Cryptography is very prominent altcoin? XMR, DASH, ZCASH and XZC are very good choices. In addition, there are other concepts of cryptography altcoin, NEO and LSK is very good, of course, there WAVES, WAVES recently the price reached about 10 US dollars

I believe btc and ethereum always it’s already changed lots of people life . Now waves,neo,nem are better option with lots of potentiality. Centra multi cryptocurrency wallet and card, power ledger , bitdice csno, paypie, cag , xuc all are having strong concept and good team more than that working product.

I like only the serious ones and my list includes, bitcoin, ethereum, lite coin, dash, Monero, new, iota and some tokens that I like include taas, Astro, change and tend pay etc.

2018 will be a big year for:

My suggestion goes to DeepOnion. It's created four months ago, announced as the next generation privacy coin.

It has TOR network natively integrated, deepsend and smart contract on the roadmap to be implemented in the next year. What impressed most is the community it built up from ground in just a few months. Up to the beginning of Dec 2017, the community has 6300+ registered members which is really amazing. It's premined and has totally 40 rounds of airdrop to go. The price is pretty decent when it hit $2 a few day ago and volume reached 28 BTC.

I think DeepOnion has great potential in 2018.

All people know this. But they are looking forward for altcoins I think. The next big thing will come from altcoins. We've observed many things from the market of altcoins and they wrote successful stories.

i must say that ethereum , neo, litecoin and minexcoin are my favorite cryptocurrencies for 2018 moreover it is never late to invest in the bitcoin.

Pretty new to cryptoscene but I guess I´ll throw my favourites anyways!

1.Monero
Current king of privacy coins which I can see becoming more and more important with new regulations. Also one of the strongest coins tech wise and if we can get hardware wallet support this will be huge. I also like mining algorithm not suitable for centralized ASIC mining. Just very strong coin overall and marketing hasnt really been there so still sleeper in my books.

2.TenX
My top pick for crypto credit card providers. 2018 will likely be big year for crypto mass adoption and being able to use them pretty much anywhere is amazing. When someone says bitcoin is cool and all but they wont touch it until they can actually use it to buy everyday things, then is the time to show that shiny card and tell how you actually paid your last groceries with bitcoin! Also amazing if you are traveling to another country, no need to get hands dirty with that fiat money. And as added bonus this is still really cheap.

3.Substratum
Amazing community, good communication from team and they already have done succesful testing. There is great demand for their product so I cant really see this one failing. ICO investors are already happy with price but I think it is still undervalued.

4.Electroneum
Still not released so this one is risky business, but when ICO coins get released this will likely get huge dump and then is the time to strike. Crypto is still too complicated to use for average Joe and I havent seen any other coin trying to take advantage of this. I dont think I could recommend trying out any other crypto for my parents unless I´m guiding them through the process. Built in "faucet" can also be huge for people just wanting to try it out without making investments and gaining trust in the cryptoworld. Too bad mining rewards just went down, this has been king of profitability for over month straight :)

Cryptocurrency, has  reduces bank stress and time,by standing in bank over 1hrs, for a particular transaction. but now you no need for that, make your transaction interval 1-3 second, which is very faster than any other transaction. secondly online shopping using crypto. very cool without stress and couple with home delivery, that particular area has makes to encourage more people to join online business transaction, that involved cryptocurrency.

For now we know that bitcoin is top on the list so i guess bitcoin is more profitable in coming years and promising cryptocurrency. Although Ehereum has also high value in the market, so this two will be more promising cryptocurrency.

So far, ETH seems to be the No.1 promising cryptocurrency. Its ecosystem is just so mature that a lot of interesting stuff can be done on it already.

Top 20 is too many but here is my list.

My number one will be Bitcoin and it will stay on top for a very long time. I know as of now prices are going down but it is just a correction and i am sure that the next wave will be bigger.
My second will be Ethereum  not everyone is convinced that Ether will make it big next year but with the projects that Ether have I think that ETH is undervalued and it is possible that 2018 is a good year for ETH.
Litecoin is my third this is the most stable coin in the market. Price are steady and it is possible that prices would also double next year.

BTC goes to my Top 1 as its been the most promising crypto currency since years ago. Next would be ETH, LTC, Dash, IOT, NEO, XRP, Waves, Lisk. I only have BTC, ETH, and LSK now so If I were to buy more I'll complete those altcoins that isn't on my list yet.

It is difficult to name exactly 20 currencies that will give the most profit, but I think that it will definitely be fresh prospective currencies with
 small capitalization

I am quiet surprised just a handful of people mentioned Decred. DCR was one of the biggest mover of this year and has the same potential for next year. The team just become stronger (20+ full time members and paid contractors) and it will be one of the first coin applying atomic swap with LN. And as a PoW/PoS hybrid, it produce nice passive income for me (along the x50 capital grow so far this year).

for the time being I still have not found a good project and very potential to earn big profits in 2018, but I think the newly released altcoin next year is very good my prediction.

What can you say about Cardano and Fargo coin?

Cardano is interesting as it has nothing to show, not even a working product but still worth 13 Billion... I wouldn't dare to touch it for this price.

I do not know if you are looking for some promising coins with much potential, I can see a lot of coins with much higher price, I do not think they are definitely more potential than some small coins. In my opinion, the eth still have much potential. 

There are many promising altcoins right now. But if you're onto investing. I guess go for ETH it is now ranked as second to bitcoin in the coinmarketcap.com.

For 20 coins, do not spray. Choose 5 basic you will have enough, otherwise the head gets sick from so much information. Let's admit ether, monero, waves, lisk and stratis and also dash is possible.

Well the most promising cryptocurrency is bitcoin and ethereum. They have really done well this year, and is expected to grow further by next year. Lucky for those who have invested on it.

I'd have to go with DAG based coins IOTA and Raiblocks are two safe bets for the future I believe.
