Of course why not for this year? $50,000? Give it all, I want to sell at that moment though but let's be real here. Though the price is really quick but I don't think that this will ever happen. We need to see it reaching $40,000 for this year before asking for $50,000. I think in just early of next year Bitconi price will reach to 50k$ soon. Few rencent days Bitcoin price increased too quickly and if it keep increasing like this I think it'll reach to 50k$ in the early of this year but before the end of this year I think it's only possible to reach to 20k$ or maybe more a little bit cause I think the whales will not let Bitcoin price increase too quickly for long time.

We are going to see $20000 and we all know that, we are at $17700 right now, we are so pretty close, but $50000? no way.

In last 24 hours the price of bitcoin jumped more then 20%+ and if same way it goes then in 2017 itself we can see the price of bitcoin crossing $50k or more also. Until their is no bad news flows just like last time China hammered the market with Banning ICO and stopping exchanges in the name of making regulation to follow for exchanges.

It could cross pretty much next year at the rate we are going.  I see there is no return from these gains.  Bitcoin is going to push the boundaries of cryptocurrencies and will push past the $20K mark in a week.  I think it could push close to 50K by the end of January.

Right now, around 17k, I believe it'll continues to grow. Bitcoin has doing so well in price escalade. I think will reach $50k soon, but not so quickly although price increase last days.

We want it as soon as possible because if it will increase then we will earn more with it. But there are some people who want it to remain in lower for now and they want it to increase to that level after a few months or in the next year in the mid as they first want to collect some of them.

If it croses the 50.000$ this year before 2018 it will be a huge bubble which will explode and a lot of people will lose money because after it, btc will decrease in a free fall.

I really had a doubt about these valuations anytime soon a few months back,but with the price of bitcoin moving up like a jet pack attached to its back,it is just mind blowing to think of the possible valuation it can get ,but i am worried whether these price will stick for the long term or we will see a big crash coming round the corner,in economic terms it is a pure bubble like thing and a bubble will burst any moment,i am really confused with this growth.

When we look at bitcoin history we can see a 15 times increase in value in just a year, if this trend continues I think we can see a $50,000 value in one to two years. I think that is highly possible since the number of bitcoin is fixed but the demand is increasing day by day.

If the rate of increasing it's value wont stop or fall. it might cross $50,000 on the 4th week of January or the 1st week of February. If the trend continues we might even reach a higher value.

Anything can happen to bitcoin. But rationally the increase of bitcoin price has not been able to make bitcoin price reach 50.000 $ in this year. I also do not think it will happen in the next year. We might just wait until it happens. Optimism can be owned, but we must also take into account everything that may happen and not happen.

It is true, I think bitcoin value are possible to achieve $50K but I guess it take a long period of time before it happen. Because I know that even bitcoin value are continues growing up, we don't need to forget that competition in crypto currency community is too hard. So we always need to be careful in making decision. In additional I suggest that it's better to invest now in bitcoin because it seems price of this coin will reach $20K before end of this year, all we need is to be patience holding bitcoin.

It's just nonsense. They likely made some luck based profits with trading once, and now they believe they are the Warren Buffett of the Bitcoin market. Some times I see people say that if you buy Bitcoin at X level, and the price goes up to Y level, which at that time is just an increase of 20%, you'll become very rich. It's just the standard gibberish that from time to time gets echoed by noobs. If we're talking about rich, and then not third world country stantards of rich, but more well developed economy rich, it has to be in the millions. Everything below that is either just decent money, or just not worth putting a title to it.

First of all, we don't know whether $50k is going to happen yet. There could be a huge downturn with bitcoin's price and all of a sudden people are worried about bitcoin crashing to sub-$10k levels, let alone going to $50k. Things can change in a bear market.

If the market does want it to happen, then probably next July-August is the most likely timeframe for me personally for $50k to be hit.

It's up again with $100+ and the price now is $15,880. I also wonder on when the price of bitcoin will be reaching $50,000. If not next year it's very possible that it can be reached on 2019 and on that year we are going to see the peak of $1,000,000 as predicted by John McAfee.

I expect the price will keep on increasing, at present the price has gone lower to $14500. This might be of the correction happening after each and every sudden price bumping. In my personal thinking expect the price to reach $50000 or above by the year 2020 close to the days after halving.

The bitcoin price will reach $50,000 on February, $50k is too much lol maybe the price of bitcoin will reach over $20k or more before the 2017 ends. You should know that even though the price is increasing so fast always remember that it will still crash so $50,000 is not easy to get.

In february 2018, bitcoin will probably reach 50k$. But there can be many sudden changes in the price from now to then.

Preferably next year as I think we should be talking about next year now. Bitcoin has been getting and uptrend this year and I think the uptrend is going to continue as many future trade companies are going into bitcoin trading now.  $50,000 is achievable but it has to happen close to the end of next year. For 2017 we may move close to $20,000 and the price will be moving around there till January next year and from there we would experience another pump that will lead to $50,000 around October and November next year.

From 15k$ (supposed end of 2017 price) and 50 k$, it's a 300% raise. In 2017, bitcoin raised 300% between jaunary and august.
And when bitcoin will reach 50 k$, then freebitco.in hourly reward will be smaller than 1 satoshi. Many faucets will have to change their way of working by then.

Yeah might be next year. Dont know if true but in some discussion it might get that big in June,July,August . Some predictions comes in Summer times months of April and May's. Well who knows what it can reach for a short period of time all we have to do is wait until we reach our goal or target for this.

January is bit too early though but anything is possible. The percentage rate of increase is going higher and the period between each increase compared to before is decreasing.

As we can see current value grow about 1000% from Jan 2017 which amaze people not for just personal but also world wide aware and start to invest on bitcoin. I can see that bitcoin will grow more exponential in the future !

Bitcoin is unpredictable, this year I did not even think that it could reach more than $10,000 but I was absolutely wrong. No one can predict how much the price of bitcoin in 2018 correctly. We all have our own prediction and speculation, but I still doubt it will reach $50k soon. I have no ideas what will make bitcoin price jump at that spot. $50k is just too high for me to be honest, I will be so confuse what to do if it reach $50k.

I am not sure it would warrant up to that or better still, you can just see some new elites being set out and then most people quitting their day jobs for real to set up a better investment for themselves.

2 years is a safe estimate. This year alone bitcoin rose exponentially to more than 1000%. So if we are all going to based on that, next 2-3, $50K is possible.

With bitcoin it is very hard to predict its price in the usual way. We expect 2 years bitcoin cross $50,000 but with the current rate of increase a year is possible.

well, predict is very easy. it is possible that it will happen, because bitcoin also almost reaches $ 20,000, so of course the $ 50000 price can be earned. but maybe it can be seen in 2019.

What we have experienced this year is unseen, and will likely never ever occur again within the same time frame. If Bitcoin in 2018 increases with "just" 100%, it means that from that point another 100% increase will push Bitcoin to $67,000. In best case scenario we would then have reached these levels before the block halving taking place. By that time there will be more than just the future markets for wall street to benefit from Bitcoin, which I am confident in will thrive the market over the $100,000 level within five years, to remain fairly conservative. But then again, it's nothing more than (at this point) empty speculation. Well in as much as i want Bitcoin to increase in value, i don't expect Bitcoin value to reach that height of  $50,000 before end of December this year but come 2018 is a possibility that is bound to happen and that will make some us to become millionaire in my fait local currency if all things remain equal.
