half BTC, half KMD. Waves also looks very strong. Etc I would avoid just IMHO.

NXT - best risk/reward ratio for the next 10-15 days

Take a look at Cardano, Nem, Lisk, Power Ledger. They are currently on a down trend and I guess it will be changed very soon. I don't think that ETC is a good invesment.

Personally I would invest in Bitcoin because 10k USD is a lot of money so you have to invest in a cryptocurrency with a lot of liquidity because it is safer to trade and you do not have to wait. If you want to take a profit, you can just market sell your investment into some walls without losing a lot of money. Ethereum is also a very good choice because it is second after bitcoin and is very cheap right now.

I will invest 25% on ripple, 25% on dash, 25% on ETH, and lastly 25% on Litecoin.

If I had 10k to spare, I think I would go half and half with eth and monero. They have both exploded in price recently, and while litecoin has risen and fell a bit, I don't feel monero is going to slow down as much as far price is concerned.

Just for 1 week? Probably bitcoin and iota are going to be dope in weektime. You can try to find bottom in both coins and can make great profits just buy catching it.

That's a very difficult question. Crypto currency is unpredictable. But I would invest in NEO, LTC, Verge. It seems to me that these coins could make pretty good profit in the middle term.

If not bitcoin, I am definitely going for IOTA, Cardano, or Bitconnect. These are the best performing altcoins for the recent weeks.

If I had that amount of money probably I would put $100 on the first 100 coins on coinmarketcap. During the last year if you calculate the sum of all of them is definitely a positive profit. It might be a good idea. It's just different form "all in BTC/ETH". Never know

If you're holding for a week and one week only, I'd put my money on Quantstamps. Their current marketcap is ranked around 112 for all coins and this has potential to grow a great deal in a short amount of time. IOTA isn't a bad idea either. Though I wouldn't expect too much profit from this in a week because it's already grown around 200% in the last week or so. Though, IOTA is a strong long term hold.

for this week i would choose waves. it can be 10 usd until next week. that's roughly %35 profit in a week. sounds pretty good to me. if not waves i'd pick to stay at bitcoin. another %20-30 profit is possible a one week.

Bitcoin would be a nice start if you had ten thousand.
Ethereum might be my second pick if I had to go with another coin.

I think I'd rather stay at Bitcoin. I can give Waves a little bit too.
But if you are considering a short-term investment, you should keep track.

I don't make an investment for 1 week only. In crypto 1 week is like 1 month in stock markets. Your initial money may undergo a crash and you can make crazy loss after all. Care for this and don't do this.

The best opportunities for this week, in my opinion, are Stratis and Waves. Both should take a big step forward, especially Waves with the presentation of the new DEX in Amsterdam (13th December).

I think the best invest right now ETC, becouse on december 12 they announced hard fork . The price will go up.

 If i have 10K USD: 5k I invest and hold in Bitcoin, 2k in ETH and remaining of the amount go to altcoins in top 70 market-cap :)

IOTA recently partnered with Microsoft because of that IOTA is getting a lot of investors and the price is going higher. and also never forget Cardano is the fast-rising altcoin in the market right now.

The list you gave is nice but they'd would start shooting up by Feb,2018 (based on activities and project roadmaps) but he's talking about next 1 week.

Spectrecoin (XSPEC).  Grossly undervalued anon coin which is just now bouncing off a 3-month low.  Though, between its robust and unique privacy tech and motivated community, this coin has strong potential beyond the near term.  This is one to buy NOW while it is on sale, and ride to the moon.

One week is a very short time for crypto investment. You really have to need some sort of a good technical analysis or a chart reading so that you will be able to invest soundly in the right coin. We cannot just easily guess which coin will rise or not in the next 7 days or a single week. In the absence of all these technicalities regarding trading, then perhaps you look for coins that are usually swinging high and low and the enter during the low point.

I think you can invest in STRAT. In the next week STRAT will have good events that will help it to increase quickly, in addition STRAT is currently very low price so this is a good time for you to buy STRAT. I feel that the bitcoin is going to be deeply reduced, which will be the opportunity for altcoin to rise again.

I would invest in BLUE.. the marketcap is still low, and it has potential to grow 400% in a week..

If i have $10k USD i wouldnt waste it on alt coins, i cant have much profit if i invest in it alt coin, i would just stick it on bitcoin for sure profit, 10k is a lot of money and the profit that you can gain in bitcoin is going to be much more.

10k is not big amount for proper income but try to expand your view to different investment options. Cryptocurrencies is not for newbies and volatility can eat your balance for 1 blink of eye.

I keep Bitcoin this week .. for me it comes to $ 20,000

I will use $7k in bitcoin and use $3k for random coins which I think that I can make a big profit. the coins I will choose is waves, etc, nxt, emc2. I think for emc2 and waves, the price is not yet too high and I can buy right now before the price increases. for etc and nxt, I think the price now is down so I can buy for a lower price. I think in 1 week, that coins will go to increase and I can wait until 1 week.

If i have 10k dollar i will invest all into bitcoin. Bitcoin is getting higher and higher this week. And no other coin has the potential to grow in just 1 week.

Waves is the way to go. If you look at what NEO did it should be pretty obvious that Waves will at least x2 this week with the new platform.

I could invest in the memetic for a week because Memetic is exposed to a pump every month

if i have 10k usd i will invest it in bitcoin because now its time to invest in bitcoin and do trade in bitcoin because in bitcoin investment will give you double profit.

If I had 10K then I would never put that in only one coin so I choose Bitcoin for 50% and another 50% for fast running token with upcoming news like request network token. They are about to release request Colossus soon, Maybe within a week. Thus it's the first demo of their platform on testnet.

If you're only investing for a week you should start with a new coin, one that is likely to explode in growth.

Iota has a lot of support recently, same with DeepOnion.

7k BTC, 3k in altcoins!

10k usd is really good amount to invest so I will invest majority of it in bitcoins as that is the best investment to make and can give best returns in future and some of it will go to reputed altcoins to make regular profits.

He's asking for "1 week" investments. Bitcoin isn't going to produce anything significant compared to coins that haven't pumped yet.

Waves has a very good chance to grow at least 200% by Friday because of the new client.

why do not you put etherium in the list? it has good potential power recently.
wave is always my favorite and now litecoin also grow so high and waiting for correction and buy.

I would avoid ETC for the most part. Not very many people actually know what ETC actually does now, and seems like the Chinese and Koreans just buy it for the price without actually knowing about what ETC is.

Because the thread title clearly states "1 week". And Ethereum isn't going to throw of x2 to x5 returns by Friday like Waves is.

If i have 10K to invest alt-coin good for 1 week, Based on the popularity and demand i'd rather choose these two, Bitcoin and etherium because these are the types of coins which are famous and delivered good performance based on its history chart:)

That's a terrible way to go about a 1-week trade. Bitcoin and Ethereum fluctuate greatly within one week and right now there is no signal for any major bull runs.

You're much better off finding a coin that is about to multiply due to upcoming news and updates, like Waves which will be $30+ by Friday.

Buy bitcoin and wait for hardfork or buy dumped coins

If I do have that amount, I simply put on 50% on Bitcoin and I divide rest 50% for the following:
ETH, LTC, OMG, Dash, XMR.

Those Alts perform very great from previous months till now.

If I had a sum of 10k USD, I would have no doubt buy Bitcoin of one third. For the second third, I would buy Ethereum and for the rest also Waves as you write.
