Title: Polite help request with twofold error: Two related transactions with low fees
Post by: andyError on December 08, 2017, 03:02:50 PM
I've double screwed up - made a small payment (1) with an accidentally low fee, then made a larger separate payment (2) which now has 'unconfirmed parent' status as it's dependant on payment (1). Payment (2) also has an accidentally low fee!

Let's not get into the details of how much of an idiot I am, and how bad the timing of this is, with the current transaction rush.

Both of these payments are stuck as unconfirmed. I'm using Electrum and transferring from one of my wallets to another of mine. Unfortunately, neither of the tx's are 'replaceable' and I'm very confused about how I might now go about doing a Child Pays Parent transaction seeing as how these two are now chained.

Is there anything I can do to budge along these transactions or help them be forgotten? I'm happy to pay large fees.
