Title: Keys to launch an ICO
Post by: invot on December 08, 2017, 04:35:47 PM
Keys to launch an ICO:

1.- Have a solid team and the technical capability to develop the business model. This is needed to generate confidence.
2.- Create a business model in which a cryptocurrency is issued.
3.- Count with a funding model to the realization of smart contracts.
4.- Count with expert legal and juridic consulting in the subject.
5.- Begin a marketing campaign.

Do know anything else? How do you recognize a good ICO?

I have found an article (in 3 parts) that is really helpful on how to create an ICO, in my opinion:

clear whitepaper and roadmap is very important too,
because investors will read and learn about the project from their whitepaper and roadmap

I agree that clear white paper and roadmap are very important. I usually look at this two before I invest in the ICO. Another thing I will look that is not mentioned here is communication with the community.

Don't forget about product or use case because if it is a coin or token for the sake of being a coin or token then you can be sure they won't be around a few years from now in crypto.

1. A team is fine as long as you know how to code by yourself.
2. Have a plan before you make the coin announcement.
3. You don't need money to do the project.
4. Open source your project and code.
5. Yes, promoting is key.

...... seriously? everybody knows that, it is like the first rule before starting a new ico....

ypu must have a genuine working idea

I see that there are a lot of ico's being a fail, or they does not even raise the softcap because no one is interested in them, just because their project is not being trustable.

I dont care about the project owners or the staff, because that is something irrelevant for me, a lot of people are always looking for the team but they are forgetting about the most important thing: the product

Stop looking on the team, if the project and the product are good, then it will be a success.
