Your portfolio looks good, you can invest in those coins. For that 20%, you can continue to hold keep bitcoin. Maybe it can continue its rally to over $20.000

Your list is good, I ha ve both WAVES and ELIX...ELIX is so low in terms of market cap...this is the "little" one I bet on...

I would add KOMODO (KMD) because 2018 will be a really good one for Decentralized Exchange so I bet strong on both WAVES/KOMODO...

Your last 20% should be a long term investment and should be below $1 mark; this would allow you amass more units and increase percentage of profit per coin.

Credible ICOs are also good; research on any, make sure you read their Whitepaper and make sure their roadmap is realistic. Gaot to GitHub and check out the activities going on behind the scene. Generally protect your interest by research.

I think IOTA is overrated right now at 4$ and  I would change it with Cardano.
Otherwise it's a nice portfolio but you will need to hold it over an year to have a significant gain.

if I were you. btc I'd be too. very instant change. btc never crashed. the value of the coin but BTC rises as the other is decreasing.

the choice is yours. but you need to keep 0x and ETH.  8)

Spectrecoin (XSPEC) would be a prime candidate.  Privacy coins are the wave of the future, and Spectrecoin has some of the most robust privacy and anonymity technology available.

There are only around 21 million in circulation, yet the price is still well under $1.  This is not likely to remain the case for long.

This is one coin which should easily reach $5-10 within a year, and it would still be undervalued, imo.

Keep the 20% to btc to secure profits with it. Bitcoin has been the most profitable coin in the past few years and it will be profitable just to hodl bitcoin for a few years. I think your portfolio is good except elix. You should change it into omisego if you have the chance. It will be one the most profitable coin to hodl in the next year to come. You can also try to invest into encryptotel it is undervalued ATM but I am sure it will be profitable to hold it because team is active and is continuously releasing updates.

How many times are you all going to repeat the same? This question has already been asked and answered many times in here, and they are always saying the same.. put a half on bitcoin and the other half on bla bla bla..
 

Follow this pattern, and put the other half on bitcoin & ethereum, it should be fine only because you are investing in safe coins, and you know that they are not suddenly going to drop to 0.


And please, stop asking this crap, it has already been answered.

Do not put more than 20% of your money in waves, it is a risky coin, it only deserves no more than 5 percent of your balance.

And elixir will be a big one, but it will take some months, or just weeks to earn the enough attention from all the community (i dont know why no one is talking about this coin in here)

Take a look over cardano, that is a good coin and i have some funds over it

iota is good, you need ripple and btc in there. everything else is crap.

Your portfolio looks solid to me, however I would add BTC as the last coin to it. If you want to make it a alt-only portfolio you might add komodo or my recent favourite BitBay. No investment advice here, just my personal favourites at the moment.

These coins are very promising, low cap, good teams and none of then explode in price yet(well except NEO), i think 2018 will be awesome for all of them.

Hold on to your bitcoin and buy some ether that you can invest in other alts.

I have a stake in IOTA and like the concept of tangle very much.
PLEASE don't invest in Ripple.  The last thing we need is a crypto that is geared towards the same banking system that has been fucking us for the past years.  If you're going to do that... go Stellar.  They at least APPEAR to have an ethical purpose for implementing their system. 
I'm a big proponent for SPECTRECOIN (XSPEC).  It's horribly underfunded in the marketing department but has devoted coders and a strong community.  And right now, it's cheap.  But with the fixes to the new wallet and the push to have it put on altcoin.io I'd expect to see an immediate jump.  But check out the tech yourself and the slack channel for yourself.  The wallet is fast and community is friendly.

I like iota and Lisk, I think they have high potential. What about Ripple and NEM? I feel they are also very good long term investments.
NEM just had a spike going 150%+, and the way past few months have been, both NEM and Ripple may have a pump very soon.

Sounds good. If you feel a bit more appetit for more risk/reward, change some Bitcoin to ETH, then use this ETH to buy some DRGN (Dragoncoin) and ELTCOIN. Very young coins but they seem to have a great potential and active development. Of course it is much riskier then just holding IOTA or WAVES.

Elix is probably one of my favorite coin right now, the devs are really hard working and they dont even ask for money ! I remember you can get all the coins for free by doing airdrop, the team is not greedy and release a lot of update all the time ! They are now on multiple exchange and they will release a new website very soon.

Waves very good investment in 2018. I think $ 50 is worth ambition now they have a large. All projects are good. 20% I will advise you to take ARDOR, NEBLIO, STRAT select from them. I'd be more inclined to NEBLIO

I think you should change Elix to Monetha or Sub. They building platform for payment so it is better then Elix.  ;D

Don`t forget to add ETH to your portfolio, now it has troubles because of cryptokitties but after next hardfork we can see a great growth...

It looks like good. I also keep iota, waves and some lisks but i have never heard about Elix. If i were you i wouldnt but fifth coin. I would keep it as bitcoin and during a price fall i would increase my waves and lisks. They will possibly be very expensive in 2018.

Remove elix, I don't even know what it is. Iota at its all time high price and I wouldn' but it 20% of my portfolio. Waves is good, lisk is good, and the rest 20% could go to litecoin or ETC maybe.

Except elix, all of them are good coins. But when will you invest in those coins? It seems crash is coming, if you invest at wrong time, that might be bad for you

The most undervalued anon coin in all of crypto is Spectrecoin (XSPEC).  This coin is destined to be the anonymous cash of the future.  At less than $1, it is currently a steal.  We are talking life changing potential for those who buy now and hold.

I like your portfolio, personally if I were you I will keep the other 20% on bitcoin I know that you may want to max your profits but at the same time bitcoin gives to you a hedge if the alts begin to drop most likely bitcoin will go up and that will reduce your losses.

i advise to you don't go to other altcoin because bitcoin will give you better profit than other altcoins very soon.

I do not think so, in my opinion this is a good time to buy into altcoin, as bitcoin will probably continue to increase but will not be able to increase much because current bitcoin is very expensive. But altcoin is currently at the bottom and the possibility of a strong rise when the market is stable is enormous. You will get more profit when investing in altcoin.

Not gonna try to shill but you would be good adding BTX, KMD. I believe a lot of alts would see exactly something like what's happening with LTC right now, so get in on the undervalued alts.
