It's possible during the next decade. If you asked me a year ago, I would have said that it would be hard, but it's becoming increasingly easier, as we see, Bitcoin is still so small in the grand scheme of things that it is incredibly easy to move up if wealth starts getting in. Look at the amount of wealth in the world out there outside of Bitcoin and you will realize we are a drop on an ocean of fiat and other assets that honestly are total nonsense compared to what Bitcoin offers to anyone wanting to have a decentralized store of value which at the same time it's and incredibly bullish bet due how small it still is (contrary to what a lot of people that can't see the big picture think).

If Bitcoin survives long enough the price will eventually reach $400,000 and beyond. Because fiat currency is inflationary and most cryptocurrencies are deflationary, it seems that it would have to happen as long as there is demand for that particular cryptocurrency.

I would guess within 10 years we will see that kind of valuation for Bitcoin. It seems like a high price, by so does $20,000 for a current price.

Everything is possible 8f bitcoin survives long enough. Its goal as a currency is to take place of fiat like usd or eur, so it will increase its value while US Dollar will decrease, so in the end we'll get one bitcoin for 400k$ and more.

But why in the next decade? maybe it will happen in just a few years, but not more than ten years..

I really believe in that the price will be touching more than $30 thousand dollars, or who knows if it will be worth more than $100k each one?

I believe in bitcoin, and i am trusting all my future on it. So yes, lets hope to see it increasing much more than the actual price.

But $400,000? It is VERY difficult to reach that amount of money, we all would love to see those rates.. but it is something difficult to achieve

It could definitely happen but it will happen because of hype and speculation, and a full on mania. Potentially some market manipulation as well. So don't get me wrong, i'm not saying that it won't happen. But it won't happen because of adoption. Bitcoin will be seen as a speculative tool to make money instantly and get rich from home by that stage, nobody will realise what it is truly useful for.

But his logic isn't wrong. Honestly from 0 in 2008 to 1300 in 2013 was the biggest achievement BTC had. Now with so much media coverage BTC can literally go anywhere.

$400,000? Are you kidding me? This is an overestimation  ::).
If he had said $100,000. Then I can agree to it but saying $400,000 looks like been overzealous.
We have indeed seen the drastic change in the value  and price of bitcoin over the years and 2017 has been the major year which has taken much effect. But we can't be so conclusive for the year 2018. It may not have this same significant change that happened in 2017.
 In as much as Bitcoin is taking all the attention now don't be surprise if the whole attention will be towards other altcoin in year 2018. So $400,000 is unrealistic.

Let others speak on what they believe. I can even say $500,000 in the next 2 years. Making sense right?

Since bitcoin price continously showing good support at above $10,000 and continously establishing new all time high, speculation for bitcoin to reached another level will be heard this days. I will remove the term "easy" since even it was possible and have chances, let's not take away the fact that there are lots of things to be consider for bitcoin price to reached that level.

It is possible if he uses leverage and deploy money from those bets in the futures casinos to pump the price in the exchanges. It can be done in less than one year.

I wouldn't say $400k is EASY, but I do think there is a good possibility of it happening, and probably in 5 to 10 years. We're pretty much at the point of no return now. Really all Bitcoin needs to ensure it's rise into the hundreds of thousands of dollars is a scaling solution that can scale to global usage, and it seems Lightning Network might be that and it looks like it'll be reading within the next year. Bitcoin has the media presence, has gotten the attention of the public, has gotten the attention of Wall St, is just starting to get adopted as a legit currency by governments (japan and I read one more is planning to so far), it will get the attention of merchants once LN is in place assuming it is a desirable solution. It would be extremely hard to stop Bitcoin from going up to the 6 digits in the next few years.
