Your thoughts having a bitcointalk coin, like if you have or holding in bitcointalk coin (defends of your holdings) you can advertise in this forum for free, something like that. Theymos doesn't have any reasons to launch that said coin, the current state of Bitcointalk's advertisement are still usable. People bid for a spot in the forum as a banner. Besides, creating and launching an altcoins are not gonna be cheap, and it is not guaranteed that everyone will like the new system. We could maybe reward certain users who make great contributions with payment in it or even give it out as rewards for reporting posts etc. It could also be used for micro-tipping amongst users. I think someone has already used the name bitcointalkcoin before though haha.

I have no idea how much it would cost to create or run something like this but I'm sure it would be a worthy project people could get behind and would make for a decent ICO. Could even use the money we get from any potential new donator ranks we implement to invest in it. Something to consider at least. |
