Title: User keeps on deleting an update and posts another one (in less than 24 hrs)
Post by: SFR10 on December 09, 2017, 03:57:52 PM
Noticed the following user (wasubii (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=145495)) keeps on deleting the 2nd post on his thread (every few hrs) and re-posts it with only a very minimal changes (# of transactions to be exact) in less than 24 hrs (then immediately locking his thread).

Thread link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2548205.0
Last bump: http://archive.is/tYM6s
The other bump: http://archive.is/nUsur

The mentioned user, has done this more than the archived versions (I'm sure others have noticed his actions as well). Was going to archive some more before creating this thread, but since it's getting annoying, I thought I give it a go (he's been doing this since yesterday).

Update:
Another bump: http://archive.is/eNuJh

Update 2:
And another one: http://archive.is/5EJLc

Update 3:
Still counting: http://archive.is/xy3nU

Update 4:
One more. (https://archive.is/0zdpE#selection-2053.0-2055.15)

Site is an obvious scam, there is no way they can guarantee a confirmation in 10 minutes (next block) and they are using the ConfirmTX UI, and ConfirmTX ended up as a scam.
Indeed. Thank you for this.

The trend continues: http://archive.is/30ZTt

Update 5:
Every time I check the Services board, this thread is in the top due to his countless bumps.

Can hilariousandco or any other mod confirm if that's allowed? Do I report the user if he is locking his thread and bumping it multiple times through the day? (especially if it is some kind of scam)
It isn't allowed. Clearly he's abusing it so he could promote his scam accelerator website.

Another bump (once again): http://archive.is/Ms4lN

Update 6:
There's another thread (similar name and just different website extension): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2555452.0
Archive version of it: http://archive.is/lR1Nb

Update 7:
I'm about to sleep and there's another bump: http://archive.is/0vIdh

Update 8:
Are the mods going to do anything about this?

I just checked the scammer's address and he already got 28 transactions (0.02BTC) in just two days.
His thread is ALWAYS at the top of the Services board, and every Newbie that came from the recent price spike and has stuck transactions is going to get scammed.  :)

His address: https://blockchain.info/address/18bf9SUNf5Qgo5NMXqPsf35spp8yUpkacu

And guess what? Another user just launched his own scam-of-the-scam accelerator with a free domain.

AND HE ALREADY RECEIVED 8 TRANSACTIONS (0.011BTC).

The "original" fake accelerator: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2548205.0

Most likely they haven't noticed this thread (yet). Unfortunately scams aren't moderated here but he has to be punished for breaking a rule (due to abusing the bump action that he's been doing since the other day).

Just woke up and here's another archived new bump: http://archive.is/ktvNr

It's not allowed:
NOTE: This is meant to serve as a reference/educational/informational thread, NOT a rock solid list of rules.

Forum rules
13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours.[2]

Apart from being a possible scam, his bumps are spam, and his thread is plagiarism, as his screenshot is a copy of http://confirmtx.com/.

I've actually reported this in the last few days of a different user. Included the link to archive of the previous bump. Nothing was done though, so I assume mods can't see deleted posts and don't accept archive as valid proof? He's still doing it to this day. In fact a lot of them over the marketplace with locked threads specifically are doing it.

If you report the post and he deletes that post then the report will disappear along with it. I banned him anyhow so thread can be locked. When reporting these sorts of spammers report the op of the thread and give as much visual evidence as possible.
