What are you going to do with your Bitcoins and Dollars now?

I am a little mad at myself for not selling at 17k$ because I was too tired and just fell into the bed.

My sales rule is to always hold part of my BTC and not dump all,base of sprculation BTC will still be on the increase.

It's good to have some rules, but what btc percentage should be held?  that's the question ???

Good thing I have also sold a part of my bitcoin. Now might be the right time to buy again at $14000.
This could be the last level where it will go down. And some of this time it will increase again.
Buy and hold then do it all over again. Take your time to analyze the trend then sell if your instinct feels like it is getting a hard time to come back up.
That is all I do but it takes a lot of effort to monitor it.

it depends on your balance and coin. if we are talkin about BTC, I recommend u to hold the majority of value and sell a part just for profit.

Only this year it went up over 20x.

The price of bitcoin  just have a dip right now and i think this is the right time to buy to those people who didn't buy their bitcoins on the price like this and all they need to do is to wait for the price  to gain more pumps and i think the right selling point for bitcoin is above $16,000 and after that they can wait to buy back again. Just always do  buy low sell high scheme.

I am going to hodl them for a little while longer probably until mid 2018 and then I will look to take my intial out then. Hopefully BTC can be 25k by then and I won't have to take out much BTC to get my money back.

depends on how you see this price I think. If I were you I would sell because bitcoin it's about to have its corection. also if you have some nerve sell and buy on dips cause it will continue to jump in prices.

its smart to always check the market and if possible scoop the dip and sold on top but all of this is depends on your style of trading or investing if you have the luxury of time to check the movements all day long then trading it will be the best option for you with proper guidance and help of the indicators and other analysis of co traders you'll be earning big but if you have business perhaps and you don't have the time investing or holding is much better to minimized risks

I did still hold my BTC. because now very rapidly increase price.. I guess in this year bitcoin go 20k$. so I will still hold my btc.

I'll hold my bitcoins and if the price goes up again I'll sell but for now it seems that the market is down so I'll just going to keep on holding. And with my dollar, I'll use it to by more bitcoin.

I feel you but you don't have to mention that as the price reached $17,000 it will comeback to that price soon.

Nobody really knows when to sell, hold or buy. It's mostly based on instincts. Do whatever your gut tells you and do it if it makes you any profit. If it keeps on rising don't get mad at yourself that if you had waited that you would have made more, be glad of the gained profit and await for it to go down and buy back to hold again until you sell it once again.

17,000 would not be the highest price Bitcoin will be so stop being "little mad" to yourself and move on. Bitcoin will reach greater heights so there will be a lot more opportunity to sell your coins at a high price.
Bitcoin is at 14k+ USD now so buy. Buy then hold, I suggest. Then Buy then hold again.

There was a nice opportunity to sell them on 17k so you could rebuy them now and make a decent profit. However that's always easy to say afterwards, it could've been different. If you still own your Bitcoins then I would recommend holding them, I predict that the price will rise again, as these small dumps always happen after a significant increase. Buying extra Bitcoins would not be a bad idea right now, but it's your own choice.

As part of my strategy, I try to make partial cash outs once the price advances towards certain levels. Fortunately I was able to sell a small portion of my bitcoins at $17,000, money that I am starting to use to buy back now that the price dropped to $13,500-14,000.

I will continue using this strategy since throughout this year the price of bitcoin has been characterized by its volatility and its large corrections, which lately have been happening frequently and are excellent opportunities to buy in the dip.

Hold, or rather hodl as they say. Unlike fiat money exchange, bitcoins are most guaranteed to go up in price in the future, without any serious regression in the distance. The more I can bite, the better. That is unless something bad happens to me, then bitcoin will be a backup plan.

Bitcoin price is gonna increase still with passing of time reason is that stock markets start to trading btc futures and this make btc legal in the world, for now its look good but for long time it can be a problem.

If you missed the chance to sell a portion of your bitcoins at $17k then you are better off holding for now. It seems to have corrected down to 14k. Could drop a little lower or could shoot up towards 20k in the next few days. It's better to be in than out at the moment.

Well, the fluctuations in bitcoin price are irregularly happening, but a way of modeling is still possible;ie we can see clearly that green colour is separately appearing n times what red one does ; so we can easily draw our paths ( buy at low price ==> hold till it goes up==> sell % of them and re-follow the same circuit.

Look at the chart.. It has happened so many times already.. I'm hodling and going to buy some assap. But it is just my way, still cannot recommend you to make anything except of your own-analysis based decision!

I have sold some of my BTC for $17.000 dollars and now I am waiting for the lower price to buy more BTC than I had earlier. Of course, I didn't sell all my BTC because it would take some time and there is always a huge risk that Bitcoin price can suddenly spike. I would recommend anyone to hodl BTC because it is less risky than selling it and trying to earn some money. I can't wait to see what will be the result of introducing Bitcoin futures.

It is normal to experience certain corrections in bitcoin price after a $5k jump from $12k to 17k in just a week. But as soon it has establish some support, I think bitcoin will continue its bullish run. I suggest hold your bitcoin and buy at $14k

it is absolutely time to buy and hold right now. I'm so glad I was able to payout some at 17k. But i missed the low point of 13,6..k to buy in again :(

I advice you to buy and hold because the future if bitcoin is promising based on the speculated price increase in future by cryptocurrency analysists.

Well, it depends upon your balance or how much Bitcoins are inside your Bitcoin wallet. But if you're having so much Bitcoins and you wanted to have some budget in your pocket, i suggest you to sell some of it and try to earn again. Don't buy anymore because bitcoin is having a super high price nowadays. Don't be tired too much. Try to hold your balances and it will gain a lot.

It departs when you buyed your bitcoin. When you buyed at 17k, you have to hold ;) But if you buyed it under 1000 i would definitely sell it. And if you started late with btc like me, now its the right time to buy or hold.

It always depends on the price you paid for it. If you bought at 15k and it goes below this point you should sell to cut your loses. If you miss the point you have to decide if it looks like the price will continue to go down or not because if you sell now and it's cheaper tomorrow you can buy more and have a greater stash in the end.
There's never a straight answer like buy now or sell now.

I sold at the 12 k stage and it was a mistake. I could not stand the pressure. Now it's very cool because I would earn more :(.

if you judge already benefit from bitcoin, I think you better sell. because I observed that the bitcoin price at the end of 2017 will fall.

I regret to not buying before when i could, when The price was around 1000 usd... but i think that it is still cheap in 15000 due to bitcoin huge potencial, Who knows, it can  cost more than 100000 in a near future. ..

have you observed the chart? if the trend will go down, then sell immediately. however, the decision comes back to you, whether you are satisfied with the current profit or believe that the price goes back up. if your investment is long term, then save and be patient, although now the price is starting to fall, I am sure will go back up.

Sell- if you see the good profit from your investment, you should need a good timing for this.
Hold- this is much better plan for your bitcoin because bitcoin value is continuous increasing every year has a big changes of value and it always bring wealth to all investors.
Buy- used your extra money for this and dont put all your savings in crypto currency just invest the amount that you can afford to loose.

Always use money you can afford to lose and always hold until it becomes life changing money. Once your life changes who cares what happens to the rate after.

By life changing, maybe something along the lines of your mortgage paid off.

i use it for trading even a little have of profit of my money. If you secure the time, you will see a dump by a little and pump by a higher.  I expect a lot of bitcoin on how much it can do by the year ends.  Just a simple day bitcoin was rise $3, 000 to $6, 000 dollars. I imagine on some person who gain 300 bitcoin when the price pf bitcoin was just only a cents dollar.

17k usd price of bitcoin value is on the high value not bad if want sell your bitcoin i think you get a good interest at that value, but i suggest do not sell your bitcoin if don't have an extra budget for your daily expenses because i believe bitcoin reach 20k usd before end of this year.

Personsally, I feel that the value of bitcoin is going to continue to rise, just like it has been - even through speculations of an impending burst of the supposed bubble, leading up to this and that different event (BTG fork/other potential forks, different countries in talks of how to regulate it/create legislation, etc.)

I think one thing that can be said for sure is that tomorrow (Sunday, Dec. 10th) is going to be a major make-or-break day for bitcoin, with the impending futures trading in the US. Bitcoin is either going to skyrocket, or it's going to take a substantial dump.

If you want to sell, you can sell a small bit, like 10% of your stash, but only if you are sure it will fall, then use it to rebuy more at the bottom. You can miss it, though.

its always better to buy and hold because of the price that keep on increasing in the past years, trade bitcoin now is risky because of the instability unless you are a very good traders, and I only sell my bitcoin whenever I saw a big chance of earning money or when I am in need of money, and now is not the right time to sell because the price can suddenly boost up with a super speed

I will  just  wait patiently because Bitcoin's value is continuously increasing. 3 thousand in less than a week is a very promising increase. It is better if you just let it wait in our BTC wallet until the time we are in dire need of the money. Hehehe. It is better than to deposit in bank because BTC is like the bank's interest rate but in hundred folds. I would like to invest more to gain more and wait until in need and sell them at high price.

Believe that 2018 will be the year of new price records for BTC backed by further institutional investors adoption. Thus, even at the current price, BTC is still a good investment.

The market has always been volatile, so that's nothing new here. Difference now is that the market is going up constantly, which makes trading a less interesting option, and even something that will likely make you lose out in certain situations. Liquidating positions to buy back a certain percentage lower is more like gambling than actual trading based on knowledge. Every time you liquidate a position, you risk seeing the market increase further, and thus make your trade inefficient and costly. Holding by far is the better option to go for, regardless how capable you as trader are. I have taken a temporary leave of absence from trading till the market calms down and becomes a bit more predictable.

hold it because i know for a fact that you shouldn't dump all your btc because it will increase again and by that time you can sell your bitcoin happily. You shouldn't regret on not selling your bitcoin at $17000 because i hope you can sell it when the price becomes $20k or something

Holding and hodling gave enormous profits to patient people in the past 1 year obviously. And we should keep holding, if we're very keen on trading, we can trade them as well, but selling... I don't know really.

I am just watching this all to over and just hodling and in the coming year when the price will boom like anything then i would like to sell them by analyzing the profits ratio if sufficient or not. In past few days I sold some of my btc at profits and now if the price go enormously down which seems not possible and I don't want it to happen but in case that I will buy them in hope to gain profits and last thing opinion differs.

I always sell some of the coins in order to be able to cover the lack of Fiat. This happens once a month. For daily needs I have enough Fiat. If I exceed my limits I pay off the credit card before the 25th of each month I extinguish your debt. This allows me to sell the coins in the best period for a month and not pay interest on the loan. I sold coins for $ 16,500 so I'm not worried about the price of bitcoin before the end of January.

Yes let's save more bitcoins for future but this time we need to be really smart and should not limit our investment only to bitcoin but we need to make sure we are investing into altcoins, ICO token which has potential but we need to be very careful which choosing the ICO to invest and we can really hit the mark of $20,000 without much hassle if we can avoid panic selling this time.

That's a wise decision if we look at how unpredictable this market has become, plus the fact that the market is going up in a constant manner. I have cashed out some of my profits around the $16,000 level to have some extra fiat aside for when the market happens to go down. I personally won't go so far that I stop trading, but I want to maintain some occasional trades to ride the waves of this market. I know it's risky with a market only going up, but I am willing to take that risk, especially whe you consider that if I cash out profits, and the market doesn't slide back down, I cashed these profits out with still a significant margin.

There is no wrong in any decision, all we need is a strong heart to handle any situation in crypto currency society. For me since bitcoin value falls into $13k I think this is the perfect timing to buy a lot of stocks, because bitcoin value was probably raising up after this deep.

Well that's called perfect planning and a clear set of mind as I myself advises people to hold on to bitcoin for long time and sell it if you need money or some sort of emergency because in the hope of having a huge return on investment (which indeed we will have) we should not sacrifice our present so everyone needs to have a set of plan like when to buy and when to sell so that we can feel the profit which we earn.

in my case i only  just sell some of my bitcoins if i need it like for for emergencies that i need to buy something important but mostly im holding my coins in order to make more profit as much as possible. i also buy some at the dip whenever i can or if i have an enough capital to purchase though there were some time that bitcoins value goes down hard but i dont have a cash available in my pocket to buy it, that really sucks verry much, my mom also wont lend me some bucks because he thinks that im using it for some unimportant things like buying video games and accessories for my computer because he always sees buying these stuffs lately.

Well, I will keep holding, furthermore, if I have the chance, I will buy more Bitcoins because I believe in it and I am certain that it will keep rising.


Don't be mad, maybe it was for your own good. Few of us were expecting that Bitcoin could reach this point.

$17,000 is not the end of the price of bitcoin it can still reach the moon if you will just put that in your mind. You must be regretful if you will miss the opportunity to buy bitcoin at the lowest price again. Next year speculation is $20,000 therefore there is so much to earn.

Bitcoin price may increase again I also forgot to sell when the price reach 17$k. For now I also plan to hold btc because for sure it will soaring high by year 2018.

Buy and hold is my suggestion. Indeed, its market value is now expensive but Bitcoin"s market value is expected to be more expensive. Since it is continuously increasing at this moment, it would be better to buy and hold for a long period of time to earn huge profit in the future.

Yeah holding is best option and if you have revenue in your pocket then buying is also good but the best thing you can do with your bitcoin at this time is to hold for the longer terms this will bring a lot of profit and this has happening already to those who bought at the mid of July and now they are in great position to earn good the key thing they have done is they keep patience and didn’t throw their coins earlier so do same.

if you are wise person and you have enough amount of bitcoin it is good to hold it don't sell them for now. it is a golden opportunity for you to make good investment with your current amount of bitcoin. some time it is painful when the price fall but don't take panic because of this the rise of this currency is next and you will become one of the successful person by holding this bitcoin for now.

If you have still some funds then just hold your bitcoin because for sure it will pump more higher compared before. I remember the time I'm regreting to spend it because after I used its price became enormous. If you were a wise person and you have enough savings then just hold it for a long time because it will be a previleged for your future.

I would say don't worry too much about it since price has steadily increased for the past few days and the trend is still quite upwards right now. Wait a bit and you may actually be able to cash out at a higher level than you planned to do a few days back.

I don't think that selling right now is a great strategy either, holding whatever you've got right now is the right decision to make imo.

You could even do all three, sell some, hold some and buy some more.  If you are not the richest person and could do with the extra cash then selling some isn't the worst idea as long as you do keep some bitcoin for the journey otherwise I think you would be quite stressed if you missed out.

You will know the bitcoin process. It will helpful to furutre process. It will know the bitcoin you now how to work to process. You Will know the bitcoin process. So you will gather it. Then you will know the which time sell and buy. Why hold the bitcoin. You will know it. Easy to process. it Will gather some information. If need to sell you check the prices it will be high then you will sell. If low you hold it. It helpful to future.

I will strongly consider the decision I made. I will look at the conditions and situations because I can not make a decision if it is not in accordance with the conditions. Doing hold, sell and buy bitcoin must also consider many things, timing and analysis into a strategy that we must apply. Because not all conditions can we use in accordance with expectations.

Doing those 3 are the wiser decision to made by the people who wants to execute it since they could even earn more money if they repeat those act regularly and I doubt that is the main act done by the whales but to make all things perfect then the people who wants to execute this kind of act must have huge balance/capital to gain success or else they will make their balance run out since they don't have back up funds if the dumping time of certain coins will occur.

Yeah that's why selling all in isn't a wise move so just sell what just you need and hold the rest. It's really heart breaking when you saw bitcoin new ath yet you already sold some and wishing that you could get back the time but you're too late. So just sell what you just need, hold as many as you can and buy when it'll have dips.

if i was you keep it up mate instead of selling early cause on this scenario bitcoin keep surging which is the growth rate of bitcoin keep climbing even though,  the price sometimes decreasing but we all knows its part of its the volatility but i never doubts on it which is i never sell! Yeah if you are an early investor then you may sell if your desired price has been crossed and if you bought recently then you must have to hold till best price come to fascinate you and if you are rich person and have resources to buy as much as you can then you can buy as much as you can all the things are possible but the thing is the time you invested and bitcoin will give you much more if you invested and are holding.

For now I will try to hold my bitcoin even though the current price of bitcoin tends to go down but I still believe bitcoin prices will soon increase again this because many bitcoin users start selling their coins for new year's preparations. The price of many altcoins have risen over the past few days. Maybe people don't want to buy them because I expect a correction. The fact that you can not sell a few days talking about what you want expensive to sell them. Price went closer to $17.5k before few days and people who sold at that price would be really happy for selling at that price as price started to fall after that but there is nothing to worry as price will cross that level once again in coming days and now my target is to sell my bitcoins at $20k price which is likely to be achieved by the end of the year or in the beginning of next year.

It is time to sell while the price is still high, usually at the end of the year the price is high but after that it will start to drop so this is the time to sell Bitcoin.

I feel your pain here, I am wondering about that myself way too often. However, I also think that BTC will reach 20k again, possibly this year.
So far we are bombarded by series of unfortunate events and news which effectively prevents price to soar.

in my opinion, there are two choices, hold, or buy. I'm sure the bitcoin price will exceed the $ 15,000 price back in the middle of the year. maybe today many people are panicking to sell the bitcoin they have. but I'm sure there will be some things that make bitcoin prices rise again.

The purpose of a person on the bitcoin they have will be different.
If I look at the current price, the best step is to buy and hold it for a long time and sell it when the price has reached the target that you think is right and does make a profit.

Buy-hold-sell. The price has now increased but it is still a low price, if you bought it yesterday when the price of 7k usd then you can continue to hold and wait until the price jumps again and then sell.

when the price drops I better buy as much as you can while when you already get a lot of profits and are in need of money then you just sell, essentially do not sell when the price is cheap. when you are stuck at a very high price then you should resist not panic then sell.

if you are stuck at a very high price and do not sell it when the price of $ 17k then you should just wait until the price back up to $ 17 k more do not be afraid and do not panic it is definitely the price will back there again because the availability of bitcoin is currently very limited and the difficulty level of getting bitcoin is very difficult.

Buying bitcoin was the perfect time before a month or so when the value was around $4k and now it has increased and reached a decent figure so I would suggest to go for ethreum this time instead of bitcoin as that could prove to be a smart move for near future.

as of today?buy and hold is what appropriate moves,since the market is unstable and the price of every coin still lower than what it use to be,so i might advice you to hold still and if you have some budget buy more of what coins you feel ca grow bigger than others

For me may be held for bitcoin due to buy I’m not sure value bitcoin will quickly stable, while to sell would make me lose because the value of bitcoin were not good, but for everyone else would probably have opinions different whether they will be held, sold or buy bitcoin

With today price, I think you had lost the opportunity. Now the price of bitcoin is reduced to 8000$ and then moves to 9000$ now.To reach back to 17,000$ is not easy now.I think the bitcoin will reach 17,000$ at this June or July. I do follow the golden rule ever since. I sell whenever the price is high, a buy when the price is low and hold whenever I think market is  stable. Though, It still depends especially that this years industry is much more volatile compare to the  past years. Well, being cautious and patience is two of the key to have a successful trading.

I will advice you all to hold your BTC's and to buy more.This is because the price of Bitcoin is very low and selling our BTC's at this price will make us face huge loses. You hold the coin if price will be low and hold the long time. If hold the coin long time you get more profit. So if want to sell before check the price then sell.

If want to buy check the price in the market place and check the best coin list. Then buy and buy it. People learn more information from market place.
