Title: Building a web page to accept Bitcoin as Payment Option
Post by: marks1976 on July 03, 2011, 07:55:39 AM
I have purchased some items and would be interested in opening a store type page for paintball.  I would like to accept bitcoins as payment.  If someone could help me do that I would figure out how to pay in bitcoins or money.  I would like to see bitcoin succeed.  If I can help in return I will do so as well.

What shopping cart software do you use on your site?
If you have none, take a look at the www.oscommerce.com or something similar.
All you need to do now is set up your (BTC) account and go from there. You can probably set BTC as one of the currencies and update the price regularly.
If you are USD based then get your price updates from http://mtgox.com/code/data/ticker.php or any other BTC exchange sites.
BTW, MtGox also has a Merchant Services https://mtgox.com/merch/about - it si possible, that this is all you really need.

Incidentally, there are number of shopping cart systems that work with Bitcoin.
