Title: Advice on Purchasing Bitcoin Miners, preferably Antminer S9
Post by: Pomk on December 10, 2017, 12:51:17 AM
I am looking to purchase multiple units (10+) of the Antminer S9.

I am aware they only take Bitcoin Cash.

How do I go about this process to purchasing bitcoin cash and then purchasing the antminers? I plan to purchase once the next batch is available.

Bitfinex is closing US customer accounts, what exchange can I use to convert my BTC to BCC?

In the meantime, would it be better to go to Avalon?

Looking for the best advice on how to acquire this hardware. I also need to purchase the power supplies.

I would want to receive it by March 2018.

Thanks!

kraken trades bch

get an account, get verified, get funded, get bch.  then keep an eye on the bitmain site and place an order for miners and power supplies.

piece of cake

Thanks! I’ll do this.

I also vouch for Kraken, setting up an account & verifying was a pleasant experience for me, unlike Coinbase.

The Avalon 741 is 60% less efficient than the Antminer S9. Although right now it's still highly profitable with the current Bitcoin prices, it may become horrible in the future.
You'll get a ROI in about 80 days with the current price & difficulty.
With that said, I would personally try to get some second-hand S9s from the marketplace here or Ebay.

Bittrex and Poloniex both trade BCH.

Why is Bitfinex shutting down US accounts?
