Asking myself the same. It could go down to 10-9k levels before going up.

It is predicted BTC dump after big BTC growth. BTC price couldn't be pumped constantly - it is market with price speculations  :)

It's probably pre-futures selling by those that believe that the futures market will end negative and therefore carry over into exchanges.

If there is a DDoS attack on exchanges following a negative futures finish I think that there will definitely be a crash that drops prices to $10K...assuming a $13K-14K range before futures markets open.  If the price goes below $13K before the futures markets open....the drop will be ugly.

No we could not say it as a crash.Bitcoin's price has fell down over 12% and now its price is $13,850.I would say that even some more price dip and price getting stable is good for bitcoin progress in the long run.

Crash no but of course there will be some correction in the price. Also short term traders are cashing their profit now. Just hold your bitcoin because i am sure that we will reach $20,000 in the next wave.

I just cashed out all of my initial capital (I bought around the $9500 mark).

Now I hold just a bit of Bitcoins, Eth, Lite, and a few other small altcoins.

Although following this has been fun and exhilarating, its also taken away from others things I could be doing. There just isn't enough money to be made with Bitcoin. Too slow.

My real estate holdings I can physically touch, pay me real money every month, address a basic need (shelter), and have the best tax treatment period out of EVERY INVESTMENT. Bitcoin will never cash flow or generate income. "And for that reason, I'm out!"  :P

I think it is only a correction... people stil want to buy bitcoin even more... every time it goes down for me it is an opportunity for buying!

We all don't know but there is a possibility maybe after entering big investors. They say big investors will coming this Dec 10 so let's wait and see. Then after that hard fork is coming on Dec 15, so my suggestion here is wait until dec 10 before selling because I think it will rise that day then after that, lets get ready on next hard fork.

I'm expecting Bitcoin to drop a lot more tomorrow with the start of regulated options :o

this already happen in bitcoin after fork it goes down but after a while it pump again. but we can't predict the future i just hope bitcoin will cointinue to last.

I think, this is just a ordinary fluctuation.
Yet there was more than ordinary fluctuation activity everywhere, as indicated by indexes especially altcoin.
However, bitcoin keep trying to rise for remain the best.

The price of bitcoin increase very fast last time and now effected to correction very fast too.

Oops it gonna increase tomorrow up to 17000$. Funny right, crash and bubbles seems the favorite word this days and then increases again. I may not invest with high price now but to ask for bitcoin crash is nothing but an impossible dream. After the widespread popularity of bitcoin this year throughout the world the possibility of its crash is 1 percentage of a million.

i think its only a little drop. so bitcoin never crashing down because after that drop it will be increase again to high value so don't think already that bitcoin will be crashing down forever! bitcoin is never fall down! don't predict a negative!

now the time to get BTC, its dropping time. it will reach 20000 USD on the year end. This is not the crash. sometime it goes up to 10000 usd then come back to 20000 USD

Don't worry bitcoin is volatile so dont be scared this decreasing means that after a week bitcoin will going up again 3x or 4x because there a lot of people in the world want to buy again bitcoin if the value of bitcoin is low. :)

12% doesn't count as a crash in crypto from my perspective it just seems a lot in $ terms when something is worth $14,000

I am very worried about my bitcoin number, I thought the bitcoin would grow strongly beyond $ 20000. And I bought it at $ 18000. What should I do ?

This is a normal thing in my opinion and the decline can be said in a reasonable value. Bitcoin prices over the past few days have continued to experience remarkable improvements and now the decline has been a backlash from the saturation of significant price increases. Bitcoin price trend will continue to increase and decrease at any time, the most we must note is how we can take the right timing. For a trader then the time to buy and when to sell Bitcoin owned becomes a very important thing.

I've had this experience several times and I've experienced a much higher decline. The current decline if nominated to be Dollar will be very large, but if calculated with a percent unit then this is a very common thing to happen. I still believe Bitcoin will be able to give a positive trend back, we just wait for the right time and patience becomes the main key that we must have.

I called it. Bitcoin went too high and is now dropping. Wouldn't be too surprised if it hit 10k. Would rebuy if it hits that and hopefully would rebound back. People are probably either too scared of buying, or are moving because of the two forks. They might provide more opportunity than bitcoin's disastrous transaction fees.

Institutional investors shorting BTC is supposed to create FUD, causing the price to drop. The fear of the shorts alone is causing FUD... BTC will have another 'correction' tomorrow.

It is simple for bitcoin. In all this time bitcoin is not increasing continuously. Some times it pump and some times it dump. Bitcoin will be increasing very soon. So don't be panic about it.

Yeah. Now that the price had stop increasing over 15k people started selling and as price dropped more people were selling out of fear, but now people who were waiting for proceeds to drop are going to buy and then again the price will increase. This cycle happens everytime there is a massive rise in BTC's price.

yes Price of bitcoin is falling from tomorrow but i want to remember you all that volatility is the major property of BTC and you should know that due to volatility maximum people are interesting in BTC. Now BTC rate is falling which is the happy moment for traders because they will start buying BTC more and more and hold them for future when rate will again increased then they can make enough profit in this way.

I’m certainly no pro trader, but if it was me. I would be holding. If I’ve learned one thing about bitcoin. It’s dont panic. This fluctuation is normal.

You buy bitcoin becausr you know it will growth high so dont be stressed for a small down dont be afraid man its only happen because of panic selling :)

No its not a crash, Its just happened because bitcoin's price is not stable at the first place. Dont panic to sell your bitcoins just because you think that bitcoin will start to crash. Instead, buy bitcoins now while its price is down. This is a good opportunity to buy. Having 15% down of bitcoin's price is somehow a good news to those who invest bitcoins.

This is just a bump before the future release. I guess people are skeptical about the future market performance.

Bitcoin will jump back and trader will try to hedge there risk. Sell futures Buy Bitcoin. That will bring in money in bitcoin market.

It's a much needed correction. Bitcoin was too overhyped and heading up vertical. Now it's cooled off for a bit. It needed to happen or there would have been a huge crash.

It will still go up soon. Maybe before 2017 ends bitcoin's price will reach $12,000 or $14,000. Just keep on holding your bitcoins, dont panic. Just continue to collect bitcoins, it will rise soon.

I think big trader play the price since i have heard in this forum 40% supply of bitcoin belong to a thousand people that keep in touch. I am worry if this is their game.

This is the time that investors is waiting for. Now that its price drops, I'm pretty sure a lot of people were now buying bitcoin. And maybe some of bitcoin users now were into panic. But of course, its drops is normal in bitcoin. People should relax and keep buying bitcoin while its price is low now and wait for it to keep pumping again. If only I have enough funds, I'll buy more bitcoins coz I can really feel its price will reach up to $20,000 before the year ends.

Now I think BTC has corrected because of those warnings and I'm hoping it will go back up and burn the shorters bad, I think people like shortcoins are here to FUD so that doesn't happen and they don't lose a lot of $ and look stupid on their big short day.

I also think it would be hilarious if we collectively started pumping BTC as soon as the shorts go live and send some of these vile cunts to the dole queue.  ;D :D

I am not updated to the current bitcoin price right now since I have a poor internet connection here. Well that 15% I think is still in the range of normal drop of bitcoin and not a sign of crash. Take note or "remember" that the price of bitcoin or any other coin is not fix so pump and drop is a part of it. Some people may people may panic because of your title.
If you think that it is the start of crash then let us observe more so we can conclude if this is really a crash. Crash is not bad at all the time. In fact investors and traders wait for it. Traders can now buy some bitcoin at much lower price.

I think we can prepare our self if something bad is happening with bitcoin and we know what we need to do to prevent this. we should know that if the price increases then someday the price will decrease and we don't know when it happens. maybe for this 2 days, the crash is coming without we realize but now, I think its happen. if you cannot stay with this then you can cut loss your bitcoin but I would suggest to staying calm for a while. the price will be increasing soon so be patient.

The person is not yet ready for the bitcoin price increase. Many people always saying for the bitcoin will crash any moment but bitcoin always increase or it increases daily. It will not crash it has been continues to climb up the value.
