Basically, I bought some ERC20 tokens on the binance market and sent them to my secure ethereum wallet. I've been reading different things, namely exodus said

It is necessary in order for a token to be recognize and be able to sell and sold on different exchanger on its different prices. It is necessary because once the tokens are not registerd it can't be sell because its not listed on such exchanger sites.
