Title: WTS: Avalon ASIC miner.Batch #2 .In Hand. Trouble connecting etc
Post by: Vagnavs on July 14, 2013, 04:33:53 AM
Update: Since, I have been asked a couple times. If the Avalon unit has been sold. It has not, I am currently taking offers and will decide later this week

Hello, I just received my Avalon batch #2 unit. I cannot seem to connect to the wireless card/router in the unit (have done plenty of troubleshooting). So I'm going to put it up for sale. I am selling it As Is

If interested, feel free to make an offer. I will also ship international.

Kindly Understand that if you purchase this item.
•   This unit is being sold As Is
•   FREE next day shipping in the US
•   Free Shipping Insurance for the price you purchased it for.

PAYMENT:
Payment can be made with Bitcoins, Wire Transfer. Escrow is an option also (John K.). If we go that route, I'll have to contact him.

All sales are final.

Thanks

btw, did you try to connect it to a raspberry PI or any pc if ur Avalon's router is broken. If the controller card is broken then it's a gone case.

I'll post some pictures in a bit. Escrow, we could use John K (I have to ask him if go that route).

I've got a couple things to do and will update this thread at that time.

no I did not. I'm not that technical savvy. I've just added some pictures show the unit and my username. I do not have a Bin price at this time.
Thanks everyone for your interest..

why not hire someone in your city/maybe neighborhood to have a look at this for you? I bet you can find a miner around

I have tried working on it myself. I have also contacted an electronics repair shop in town. They were unwilling to work on it, as creating your own currency. So I tried.

It doesn't create currency. It just does a double SHA256 hash on an arbitrary 64 byte long string 66 billion times per second. What you use that double SHA256 hash for is anyone's guess.

Batch 3 vs Batch 2; Working fine vs. not - same pic. Accepting emails at nagnavs@gmail.com. What's the story?

Not impugning OP, but had dealings with "nagnavs@gmail.com" on my own and am curious.
