Title: Question about reporting Post by: Don Pedro Dinero on December 10, 2017, 06:05:48 PM I’ve just reported this guy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2549897.msg25996246#msg25996246 because he has opened a post copying a paragraph of https://news.bitcoin.com/deutsche-bank-bitcoin-one-greatest-market-threats-2018/
And he hasn’t put a link or anything, so he is speaking as if those were his own words. That report is clear to me, but here is this other guy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2561266.0 who does the same but he puts a link. I have a doubt here because he has linked to the article, but he hasn’t expanded on what it says, he isn’t putting his thought to comment. So, should I report this second guy? (And similar posts) Title: Re: Question about reporting Post by: hilariousetc on December 10, 2017, 06:42:42 PM Yes, you can report them. I don't usually ban them if they've properly sourced the article but if all their posts are just posting articles to obviously and easily farm their account then I tend to give them a warning to stop first.
Title: Re: Question about reporting Post by: pixie85 on December 10, 2017, 07:56:31 PM The second one has made a post typical for the press section of the forum, but placed it in bitcoin discussion. It's not a big deal, just makes it annoying to the mods who have to clean it up.

I finally reported him because I checked his posting history and all posts are the same, to obviously farm the account, as hilariousetc has said. |
