I have a problem I have:

Windows 10 Home Edition

After I add my 6th card I get error code 12

What I did:
- Updated newest bios
- Installed newest chipset drivers for motherboard
- Updated Windows 10 to newest Update
- Installed newest Nvidia drivers

" This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12) "

Disable everything in the bios you don't use (Audio, Onboard graphic, etc...)
Put all your PCI in Gen1 in bios
if there is an option for 4G decoding in bios, activate it (didn't saw it in the manual thought)

reinstall windows, but use versions before 1709, like "windows 10 ltsb 1703". And disable auto update.

Change your virtual memory to 32gb and also disable auto updates on windows. I have and it has sorted a constant restart i kept having due to an error.

No need to reinstall windows. It's definitely a BIOS setting as Windows is detecting the card but cannot allocate sufficient resources to properly enable it.
Two things that you need to check:

1. Try different PCIE Settings - for me Gen 1 only correctly detects 5 GPUS switching to GEN2 alone solved the issue
2. Make sure that you enabled the 4G Decoding

If it still doesn't work - try to disable the device and restart Windows. One of the 2 options should actually solve the issue.
