Title: Upcoming interesting / promising forks
Post by: Bitophile on December 10, 2017, 11:33:06 PM
Are there any upcoming forks which are promising? I guess many new users will have BTC in exchanges and would be beneficial to know whether to pay the fees and bring it our wallets.

I've read something that says there will be like 6 forks coming: Super Bitcoin, Bitcoin Platinum, Bitcoin Cash Plus, Bitcoin Silver, Bitcoin Uranium, and Bitcoin God. I don't knkw if this is a legit list but if you want you cn check it here if anything is promising for you: http://cryptocurrencyfacts.com/2017/12/05/upcoming-bitcoin-forks-2017-2018/

Dont hope to see your portfolio full of those shitty forks, they are worth zero

super bitcoin is crap, bitcoin platinum is crap, bitcoin silver is crap, they all are crap.

bitcoin cash was the last fork that has been useful, bitcoin gold was just a money grab for the devs (they grabbed more than millions of dollars)

if you want easy money, dont expect to get those coins, because you need to export your private key to a suspicious wallet, and this means that you can be in a risky position.

I don't think forks attract many people any more as there are many unreasonable forks. After what happened to Bitcoin Segwit2x, I don't see many people talking about coming forks.

The only good forks will be the b2x forks, i consider the another fork coin of the bitcoin just another crap coin. It caused by it's not community decision. The important thing about there is a possibility for all of these bitcoin fork to give your a lot of bucks. but it may better to buy the bitcoin as much as you can.

Thanks for the heads up. I am aware of the risks though. I woudln't dare to use that private key were I have my BTC anywhere. Just wondering whether it would benefit to my BTC from few exchange wallets to a personal wallet or my own private key. Sounds like the prospects are not good enough to waste the fees.

Trend ICOs just changed to fork trends. It's only speculative action from community

Check out the first btc fork, Bitcore/Btx.
Forked in April, even earlier than bch.
