What was the first price you bought bitcoins at? Do you feel annoyed that you haven't purchased more?

Bitcoin caught my attention from $3000 price in the market but sadly I don't have enough money to invest but then its price keeps going up and just leaves me with regret each time because I haven't started any investment yet.

Bought my first around $250 in the beginning on the 2013-2014 bubble. Price went to $1100 and dropped back to $200. Keep on HODLing  8)

If I would have known for certain that the price would be as it is now, I would of course have bought all I can get my hands on. But as we are all just humans with no time traveling skills I don't feel annoyed that I have invested only moderately. I rather feel lucky for getting so much back from my smaller investments.

When i first looked at the market of bitcoin , truly i didn't believe that it could rise to this extent in such a short period of time and i regret that. When i bought my first bitcoins the market price was only 700$ and at that time i only imagined that when it would reach around 1500 to 2000$ i will withdraw but when i saw the rising of the bitcoin i didn't do that . But , i still regret that i didn't bought enough of them at that time.

I first got aware with Bitcoin just last year around May 2016 if I am not mistaken and I first bought my Bitcoin around June or July of the same year. The price when I get in is more or less $600 which at that time was already considered to be high  and prohibitive because I was not able to foresee that it can grow as much as it is today. Well, had I known by then, I could have bought more and just hold it in my wallet. I eventually used a big part of the Bitcoin I bought went to scams and failed programs which returned nothing to my wallet. This has become of the many frustrations I encountered online but thanks to two programs I recovered some of what I lost. I know I am not alone with my story.

Don't feel annoyed, because we can never predict what will happen later. If you have a small investment and you can make a profit, you should be lucky. In addition, as long as we are still encrypt the currency ecosystem, you will have a chance.

I have discovered the bitcoin when the price was already high but i hope to invest about it in the future

Ya, See the price today. In 2013 I kind of ignored it or rather can say a little bit heard about it and didn't want to know about it. I bought it like when it was of around $7,000

Its this year 2017 that I'm been exposed to the world of cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin. I cant remember what the price when I bought it but that time even thought the price is a bit high i didn't hesitate because my mind set that sooner or later its value will increase even more.

I got mine this year for around 1,500USD.   I wonder back in the days without the exchanges how did people get BTCs?

When it hit 5k. It was a very big number , i never imagined it will rise more than that but hey it's double now :( i'm just sad because i didn't have money to invest in it. I would've doubled that amount by now.

My first price was around $ 650 in June 2016. Can you believe the rise in such a short time.

Start to speculate with BTC on localbitcoins when it was 700$ in May 2017.
Spread was 20$ and i was happy  ;D

I started when bitcoins were just $300. Back then the only purpose on why I bought bitcoins was that I needed to gamble with the bitcoins since my old bookie charge a huge margin compared to just playing on some bitcoin sports books like nitrogensports. At the time, it was not an option to play at the major and leading online sports books as it was terribly hard to deposit coming from my country nor do I have a credit card to deposit with. I feel bad though that I lost all those bitcoins back then, but can't really turn back time. Also, who would have know that after just a few years prices will come this high.

if i know bitcoin for longer maybe i will invest more. and i even everyone will not know bitcoin will increase like that. disappointed is the one that I feel right now.
and now only a few of me hold bitcoin.

You can buy just a decimal part of bitcoin or some altcoins if you are lack of money.

When I was first started using bitcoin last February, 2018 its price is around $1000. If only I have enough funds and know that BTC would go as high as its present rate maybe I buy more bitcoin and save all my bitcoin that I have earned. But no one know that BTC would be that high.

My first price was $ 1100, but I did not keep it, but bought altcoyins, which I later lost. I think many had the first low price, but few among them, who resisted and did not sell, but still keep them.

The first time I purchased my coins was some time in 2014. The price back then was around $700 per coin, but I paid around $100 as markup in Localbitcoins India. So it cost me around $800 per coin in average. But I incurred heavy losses when I sold some of my coins in 2015 and 2016, when the exchange rates were around $250 per coin.

My first price 3000$.but now i see 17K plus.and i hope it will cross 20K soon.

Its good to see the success stories above, its worth noting that Bitcoin is probably still in the early adoption stage. People in 5 years will look back at this thread and go why didn't I buy in at 17k!! Imagine if bitcoin gets more and more adoption/exposure, 10 years time, this is a mill a coin....

First encounter and first price of bitcoin way back 2015 is $250, still a college student that time and I'm taking my OJT to finish my degree, that time didn't have enough bucks to buy a single bitcoin due to the fact that I'm still studying, that time I really want to buy just 1 bitcoin because I have a good feeling about it, then back to the present the regrets and frustration is still crawling into my minds, but still we need to move on and find another opportunity.

This is a pretty chilling and miserable question. I first got to know bitcoin when it cost $500. At that time I did not have any capital to start investing in bitcoin. My introduction with bitcoin starts from a free faucet spread over the internet. It was easy enough then to get bitcoin.

I wish I could go back in time, I wish...

A good friend first told me about bitcoin back in 2011/12. I think it was worth about £100 back then. Everything about bitcoin sounded incredible (but hard to understand at first, I'll admit). At that point we had no idea what was going to happen with it - we both felt like we'd missed the boat and it was too late to buy any! Had no idea that by now it would be worth about £12000.

I didn't buy my first bitcoin until this year, back in Feb/March when it worth about £1000. Have been watching it closely all year and lots of interesting things have been happening in recent months.

So that's my bitcoin story! Thanks to everyone else who has shared theirs. I only wish I'd bought £1000 worth of bitcoin back in 2012 when I said I was going to and then held on to it until now  :'(  ;D

400 $ in December 2015 and $ 16,590 today December 2017. I'm really amazed at what's happening right now because it has been almost two years ago and that's the price of bitcoins today. The speed of bitcoins is accelerating especially now in 2017. Hopefully in the coming years there will be no hindrance to bitcoins. And it's even higher for us to benefit from it first. Surely those who do not believe and criticize bitcoins will be disappointed because they did not believe it.

i bought my first bitcoins for 30$.i wasted them always for goods in the internet.after btc crossed 500$ i stopped buying,i thought  its to expensive all the time later, but now i believe bitcoin can each easy $25k.

I cannot remember what was the price when i mined my first coin but i remember selling it for 2 euros. It's easy to be the general after the battle as the saying goes but at this moment i'm just grateful that i did not waste all of it from that period. Sure it could have been better, but i'm still ok with what i have :).

Am I the only one who wishes to go back in time and slap his face and instead of buying a new computer instead buy Bitcoin. MILIONAIRE! That would've been me.

I started few months ago and then price was about 4200$ and now price is about 17k usd.And i'm regretting now that i didn't buy more.

This is more rhetorical question. I think everyone wants to buy bitcoin when coins price at the lowest price. And of course, the more you bought, the more profit you get.

I hear about BTC in 2013, but sigh my wallet in 2016, and buy BTC in march 2017 for $ 1000/coin...

Sadly, I came to know about Bitcoin when it was at $1000, it never occurred on me to buy cus I didn't actually understand it very well.
I just started following up on it and decided to get some at a more higher price.
And now, am happy with the little I got then, it's great.

I do not remember details, first time I bought between June and August 2014, I think I paid about 500 dollars. Definitely, what annoys me is not the fact of no buying more, and yes the fact have not met bitcoin in the year 2010, but no regret.

November 2017 at 7.3k GBP

i discovered Bitcoin when its price was about 1400$ but i couldn't buy it at that time, and  i bougth my first bitcoins when it was 7000$.

when first time I have knows about bitcoin industry Bitcoin price was $400+ but now its out of my knowledge :P . Now I am working hard for 1 BTC

I bought 0,1 btc at price about $6000 a couple months ago

I didn't buy my first Bitcoin as it was my earning regarding my domain name reselling business. If I am not wrong then I think the price was trailing around $300 at that time for 1 BTC and of course, it feels unfortunate when you lose such opportunities even in the case when you have enough capital to invest. However, being optimistic I am sure $17K would be like $300 down the road and we will be feeling proud of our decision.

Bought my first bitcoin in 2011 at slightly less than $2. Also mined for a while. Today, after everything, I now have less bitcoin than I bought in my first purchase ($20 worth)...had to sell for living expenses and stuff. Wouldn't change a thing, wild ride!

i just watched and picked btc at 1500 but now feeling sad bcz i didnt purchase bulk amount of btc.
but i m happy .still its early time to buy bitcoin.

Bought my bitcoin 2 years ago at the price of $200 and i actually scammed many times in the HYIP i lose everything but buying 10 btc in just 10 to 20 mins of transactions is a big no no that time. that's my fault i wasn't able to save atleast 1 btc

The first price I'm at is only at 2000 USD and I barely got money for that and by that I didn't invested on bitcoin. Because it seems that my parents also doesn't have money.

I knew bitcoin way back 2012 I was really not sure about the price of bitcoin because I really did not care about it when my friend told me about it and just ignored it. When I really started farming with bitcoin just this year when the price is still $3000 last February, and I don't have that much money to invest just 1 Bitcoin for 3000$ that's why I just started earning through faucets, campaigns and many more. I would say that I'm still lucky to know about bitcoin when it was just at that price because I have been saving my money and keeping it until now. I hope it will increase more and will hit 100K mark and by that time I hope I'll have at least 1 BTC.  ;)

I bought first bitcoin around $1150 , but, sold it later.
I believe the best way is don't trade often, buy it, then, hold it, is should be better for most of us.

450 usd was my entry into bitcoin in Nov 2013. Great times!

Got hit hard when I bought more during the pump and get dumped all the way to 160 USD in 2014..

Everybody regrets not buying more, but I bought what was realistic back then, so I'm happy with it.

i started to buy bitcoin around 4000usd by then now it was 17k usd..  but i dont have enough capital to buy even 1BTC.

That actually already looks pretty wise - just a month later it's 12.8k GBP

When I started work with BTC it cost me 300$ :D . Then I sold 2 BTC at 30 January ( for like 1000$ if I not mistake. Maybe a bit less) Now I just shocked :D because i could be rich if I wasnt so stupid

I chosen right time to join Bitcoin world. When I started, Bitcoin dropped to $200. I was reading that in past Bitcoin price was $1300. For me it was looking like big pumped bubble. I didn't imagined that Bitcoin can reach todays price. Even $1000 looked hardly achieavable. And when I was reading predictions that Bitcoin may reach $10 000 or $20 000, I thought that these people have to take off rose tinded glasses.

I joined bitcoin in 2016 and I think In that time price was around 400$. But I didn't know much about bitcoin.Just used my bitcoin for my need.And now I know what is bitcoin and holding my bitcoin :)

The first time I heard people talking about Bitcoin was when its price was something like 250$ but I wasn't really interested and just ignored it.
After that, I noticed that more people are talking about it and I was chocked when I discovered that its price reached 2k,
then I decided to invest some money in it. I regret that I didn't invest more, it could change my entire life.

I read about 2011 and I liked it, but I forgot it. Then I returned November 2013 with a price of around 400 dollars.

Unfortunately it was too recent and missed the great opportunity :(

however I am trying to cheer myself up by thinking that it is still not too late to take the train.
it does not matter how much you buy now, 1btc or .001btc, what matters is how much % will it go up by.

OMG this is seriously a miracle. And especially what bitcoin have shown in last few years that was really more that incredible. There were people who are always yelling bitcoin would die within some years back then in 2010 when bitcoin was not that much familiar and in start sates of developing. But see it now and just compare for once, you will be believe in the potential of this amazing coin.

I have been using Bitcoin for services and payments
since 2014 when it was at around $350

First time i bought bitcoins it cost ~93$ for 1 btc. It was during the first iteration of the silk road site. They only took bitcoins. For all else there was egold and after, liberty reserve, which was the best.

Was on during the first climb to 1100$ and the drop to 450$ which followed. Managed to sell 18 coins @ 880 and felt good when i saw it drop down to 550 the following morning. Not felling so good about that sale now eh haha

 

I think all of the crypto comunity wish they saw this coming. We would all be millionaires at this point! But it is nearly impossible to predict. One can only speculate. Keep investing because the price will likely continue to rise......

My first price was around 3k, earlier this year! we really have come a long path since then..wonder whats in store for us in 2018!
