So please confirm it is a right reply. fabioganga gave the right reply on how to install the bitcoin core wallet on a linux machine, however, i'm unsure what you mean by "i am looking for ICO". BTW: you do need to edit the download path, since this tutorial isn't for the very latest version of core... A passphrase is pretty easy, if you use the QT gui you can use following tutorial: http://www.btcpedia.com/secure-bitcoin-qt-wallet/ From the command line, it's also not that hard: encryptwallet You might want to take a new backup after encrypting.
