I do not know that person and I do not care whoever he is. As to donating many to him donated by cryptopia, it is just good that this company give it to him. There is nothing wrong with it especially that it is done with good intention.

So no, I doubt the community will come together if something were to happen with Cryptopia, the Cryptopia users will, but not the whole crypto community, very unlikely.
