Building my mining rig for monero. I will be using XMR for mining. Silly question but has anyone bought Win 10 license on ebay etc. They sell for like $25 and I am not sure if I should buy one from Ebay. I know the regular license cost like $100 from MS and authorized seller. Please let me know. Thanks If you can find an old Win7 Pro license that is valid, you can install win7 and upgrade to win10 for free. I'm not sure about buying license keys on eBay. I probably wouldn't do it. I guess if you buy it and it doesn't work, you can file a claim with Paypal to get your money back. The prices are so cheap on ebay that I might not have anything to lose but at the same time it does worry me coz they are dirt cheap...lol. I have an old Win 7 laptop that I upgraded to Win 10. I will try to somehow get the Serial No. from there and see if I can install Win 10 and use the old laptop to authenticate. Thanks. I've also bought older versions from 3rd party sellers before and never had any issues. |
