But you haven't factored in merged mining.  Some pools allow you to mine other coins along side BTC or LTC.  Multipool.us does this.

This post should be in the Altcoin Mining section if you expect more responses.

Its good that you did the math behind the 3 investments. Its a start. However, once you dig deeper into research, you will find that there are many more considerations you need to factor in. Like for example, the potential rise and fall in value of BTC ETH or LTC, or the fact that ETH may go into POS next year, the introduction of a new version of antminer, the chance that the whole cryptocurrency economy explodes, etc, etc.

I guess you also need to factor in your risk appetite and your outlook on cryptocurrencies in general. But i am inclined to agree with you, based on today's profitability only, the antminer s9 mining BTC is the most profitable.

I used to think that miners really do share accurate info on mining so that everyone is able to move efficiently, but now I realize after reading up more recently, I feel that miners do not really give very accurate info. As in, they do not disclose the full amount they earn. Funny thing is that even difficulty charts are different when I thought everything was transparent it seems not. I guess the mining community changed from the early years, and it is only sensible. Why share the profitable coins when you can benefit longer if no one else is doing your set up right?

I don't agree with your post even still profitable ( sorry ), as long there's note it will not profitable. Mining need more time & money to get profitable but never forget about patience and power cost, we don't have power to control power cost. How about bad possibility that might happen with your tools or not reach the target? Can you face it?. But as long your mining still profitable you can do that until the end, but please see about another opportunity like invest/ trade to get bitcoin. Success with your mining.
