Post by: Mobyhunr on December 12, 2017, 05:25:58 AM
Say you open an account and fund with bitcoin.

Can you convert to fiat in any amount at any time and the send you a bank wire?

Who are the best? TY in advance.

Most of the major exchanges that also support fiat (Tether) will accept bank wire withdrawals, but be prepared to have to perform document verification. So these would be Coinbase/GDAX, Cex, (only for US and some EU I think) but since you asked for check and I guess only US still uses that now, these should be fine for you. For international, Bitstamp, Kraken, Bitfinex all do international wire transfers.

I think yobit also does wires, and is the only exchange left I know not requiring verification (as I am aware of) but I suggest you take the safer routes above.

In fact, if an exchange requires or even has an option for verification, I recommend you complete that first before depositing any funds there. Just seen and heard of too many people getting accounts frozen when attempting verification. With support generally shockingly poor at exchanges, don't expect any help from them soon.

BTW why not just withdraw BTC and sell it yourself on Localbitcoins or similar? You probably will get more buck for your bit.
