4 weeks ago we started discussing in this forum that waves is likely to explode in value since it becomes more and more a much more efficient and better alternative to ethereum with lower transaction costs and better stability, and has a lot of potential

people didnt believed us back then but now look:

those that didnt believed back then are missing the entire market correcture, their fault

but this trend will continue because waves is still underpriced and undervalued on the market, because its efficiency is still much better than that of ethereum, so we can expect the upside trend to continue.

waves has an even better performance than bitcoin

once there was 0,0005 bitcoin per waves now its 0,00075, but waves is not a high transaction costs garbage like bitcoin, and it keeps its utility as a plattform.

I completely agree with you! Waves-promising altcoin. Decentralized exchanges are the future of the crypto-currency world.
 And it seems to me that in a few years the price of the waves will grow rapidly.
So if someone else thinks where you can make a successful investment-waves-the most suitable option! ;)

i had 3 days ago a guy that told me waves might reach 10 usd from 9 usd by end of december i told him its going to be 10 usd by today or tomorrow ,

today we are at 12.4 usd,

this is a long overdue market correcture, due to ethereums overvaluation, that we are talking about, not some slow yearly long utility growth,

so u understand me better:

the market is currently correcting its consciousness regarding waves

I've been telling people on this forum since July that WAVES is going to swell up and pump hard!!  Thats why I'm balls deep into the WAVES and it feels good right now!!  ;D

Of course everyone who is holding Waves will be happy, not least myself! So yeah, this is an all time high, and corrections were incoming, but I'm sure most of you are also like me, bought Waves with BTC. So relatively speaking, I am *still* at a nett crypto loss even today when it is almost 80,000 satoshi. It has to reach a solid 0.001 BTC for me to achieve the value I bought my Waves for.

But don't take this as a criticism from me at all. I'm a huge Waves believer, and even if this coin reaches $100 I will be holding for a very, very long time. I don't know about comparing it to ETH or BTC in terms of network speed, since Waves doesn't have the same volume. But the underlying tech is impressive, and current useability is just wonderful.

This is a good thing for Waves.

Most coins will hit their all time highs. It's a positive movement for most Altcoins before the end of 2017.
Im sure this will continue due to waves being so under-valued on the market, because its efficiency is still much better than that of ethereum.

I'm hoping it will anyway.

I'm Waves holder. But I think it is early to say that Waves is alternative to Ethereum right now.
They advantages to eat other. When Waves implement smartcontracts then we can see real good competion.

WAVES will continue to have ups and downs and will continue to stay greatly undervaluated and ignored by many.
But there's a good chance it will follow Ethereum history, excepting the bugs and exploits. And when the price will reach $100+ people will start asking whether it's a good time to buy in :)

people are missing this entire surge, that started 3 weeks ago and is still at the beginning.

The Waves Team are definitely doing things correctly.  I heard that they will be launching a $100k per month marketing campaign.  That's a huge amount and will surge Waves reputation towards the top of the food chain.  I'm also looking forward to the launch of Waves Next Generation. 

The speculation in the crypto world is really really confusing these days. Its not just about the waves really but every dam coin out there. Have you guys ever thought about these all, I mean how every coin has started moving upwards in the year end. Is it the project developments are commencing at the same time and thats why we are seeing so much price movement or is it just the bitcoin that is going up and for which purpose other coins are keeping the other alts all time high.

The waves is going to catch up bigger market because it is almost similar to that of ETH market or nature of work. So in the years to come we will see up surge for it too. There will be race between all the coins and this might just make every coin to pump hard.

kind of gutted, i only hold around 40 waves which is F%&K all.

1. waves is an alternative to ethereum as a blockchain encription service,

2. waves is better useable, waves is more efficient and more stable

3. waves has by far lower transaction costs than ethereum --> 0.005 usd cents compared with ehtereum 0.36 usd cents,

4. people are obsessed with vitalik buterin, not with the service that ethereum provides,

out of these facts you can see why the market is currently correcting waves value, and it will continue till it has a reasonable comparision with ethereum,

why buying a stupid iphone when its a pain in the ass, better go android and and good producer from china,

same is currently with waves and ethereum

think 30 usd minimum soon, but more long term logical would be parity with ethereum which is around 500 usd currently,

waves is a pretty secure investment

I usually do not like to see the price in USD. Because 2 or 3 months ago we saw Waves hitting 120k Satoshi and it was something around 4 USD. If Bitcoin has a high correction the price will dramatically drop and unless you are exchanging to fiat, makes no sense to me keep looking the price at USD. Btw I was a long holder waves and what they have achieved is amazing, I am sure they deserve to be between the top10 coins. With the incoming NG launch, if they deliver what is expected, new ath will come.

Waves is quite underrated and undervalued that is why people miss it.
It will rise higher for sure. The new year will be the rise of Altcoins.

i dont understand why people still take "bitcoin" serious

it has 60 usd transaction costs that take ages, has lowest quality tech basis,

this market inefficiency will cost many people a fortune.

i sold my at 5$ and regret it...this time is was a big mistakes because i knew the potential of waves and sasha and the community. i don't know if i should buy in again.

When you sell tokens that you feel like having potential (and Waves has a lot of it) try to not sell more than 50%. You will be happy with the money received, but still keep half of the coins in case they will increase significantly in the future.

People, investors, newcomers see Bitcoin as a reserve money or kind of entry point.
So Bitcoin is somehow serious.

they do that because they are some kind of habit animals, bitcoin has become a fat lazy pig, uneffiecient with high transaction costs, the current surge of litcoin is due to a big migration from bitcoin to litecoin, this effect acceleratetes because in asia the market information is slower updating than in the west.

i dont think bitcoin can make it in the long run.

i agrre with you, it will definitly continue with this increase. especially waves will release some more good news in this month (for example DEX release and so on)!!

Many ICOs keeping their reserve in Bitcoin just as Waves.
Many local markets don't have too much option. So Bitcoin is entry point for those people.
We're in adaptation process, so it's quite normal.

That is just dollar value but the truth is that waves hasn't rises much in the past few weeks. The only thing that makes it bigger in USD value is the fact that bitcoin is on the rise. Still, I think reaching high price in USD is a big achievement for waves community and waves itself and might be a good indicator that waves will go up more in the future. For now I think it is good enough for waves to reach 15$ as peak for this rally and be stable with it to gain many more investor's trust and interest as well.

Actually this price is still very low for waves. it will be undervalued till 100 usd. They will release new dex tomorrow. And in  a few months they will release smart contracts. After 3 4 months waves platform will be much more popular comparing with ethereum for new icos.

lol too bad expereince for you budy better to have patience next time. there are more project that good to hold for long term ive been holding my waves since march this year and still holding because i beleive this coin will be big soon and also leasing it to earn also .

I am still hodling few waves on my wallet and I almost forget about them because Im not using that wallet much and Im glad about the current update yet I still have big faith on waves and Ill wait that time it would be as valuable as eth today.

until the end of December, the WAVES are just awesome news one after another. I think the whole month of December we will see an upward trend. Although stochastics has already appeared oversold. Let's see what happens after hard forks.

The whole market is very bullish due to the BTC futures introduction and WAVES is not the leader at the list fo pumped coins. But I'm glad due to that shifts in waves too ofcourse. I heard some good news about it recently.

I bought mine it was $4 dollars,been waiting for it to pump like this and i hope that this is just the start.

Yeah many coins now a days are going ATH and they can not leave the space empty at all. Waves was also one of the consideration for myself when I saw it all the way down to $3-$4 which was crazy price back then. Then everyone started speaking about waves as new ETH and when ETH was not moving from its ATH price of 300 USD. Lolz. And today waves moved, it is moving slowly but somehow it will go ahead of everything soon. I mean this is the chance for those people who missed investing into ETH at the time when it was also 20-30 USD back few years ago. Now look at the price of ETH and similar way we will see up surge of the waves also. So for those investors who have big question on their minds whether they should get into waves or not then the simple answer for this is, yes we must get into it right away otherwise we will miss the chance again with all the regrets again.

Indicators can't really accommodate for changes in fundamentals. So a lot of bullish news will make indicator bear signals irrelevant/wrong. Waves has been sideways for way too long not to dance with the $30 mark in the coming days.

Not just more efficient. Waves can handle way over 100 tx per second. What brought Ethereum down was 8 tx per second (700k per day for crypto-kitties). Waves can handle 20x that amount without any problems right now.

And the smart contracts in Q1 are going to be secure as well, so failures like Parity will be impossible on the Waves platform.

No matter how you look at it, Waves is heavily undervalued and will not be under $200 for much longer.

Thanks. Theres no current way to purchase with USD direct correct? Must be transferred from BTC? If so is it easiest to just use their client? I want cheapest transfer fees possible just trying to figure out where that is

Well I am the most unfortunate person here. Sold around 100 waves 2 weeks ago at a price of $8 just after earning a meager profit of 20%. I thought its all for now and now waves could bleed but my misfortune that it went over $13 today. Moreover the graph and recent news says that it will still climb the charts so people who are thinking its saturation point for waves are certainly wrong.

I really like the concept and progress of Waves coin. I believe that it can make clear space in Top 10 coins list in upcoming weeks. Unlike other coin, waves growth is quite genuine and steady not just a pumping effect. I feel that $13 price is not the right price for a coin like...it deserve much more than it.

For sure, so many investors and traders missed this very opportunity to ride on WAVES' run which reaches a new high at 15.06$ per coin as of this writing. I think the demand of this digital currency rises unexpectedly and its price may even reach as as high as tidal WAVES in the coming days.
Glad to see some of the alt coins are rising this time just like Litecoin who also have its own run.

I think even this is lowe than whats going to happen this is about "how should a proper enription service look"
So we can also end up with parity with ethereum

I am very pleased with WAVES!! It totally exceeded my expectation in price at this point!!  I've been trying to tell people about WAVES for months but it fell on deaf ears!!  Perhaps now they will listen!!  WAVES is swelling up nicely pumping hard into its new ATH!!!  Oh ya!!  Bring on the tidal WAVES!!!   ;D

I've had waves for months.. got in around $2-$3 a coin and held it knowing it will get big... now I have made plenty of profit. Sold about half of it when It got to $11 but still have a lot of coins.

Just going to wait and see how high it goes.

yes i miss it so bad. i was bought waves at 3 dollars and sold it on 4 or 5 dollars. now its 13 dollars. this my biggest regret. i hope i would learn from this mistake.

While the rise in price is terriffic, it is also a little tricky.
A lot of the prices of alts have been rising solely off of btc's price increase.
This is why coinmarketcap is actually a pretty bad place to go for reliable information.

What you really need to look at, is not the price, but the btc price (because the usd price is just a valuation of what it is being sold at in btc).
So instead of just doing a flat calculation to get a percent increase, you have to factor in btc inflation which will severely cut into the actual real percent increase.

But, of course, with that being said, it is great that waves is doing well.
All of these projects that have platforms for smart contracts or tokens to be generated on have a great future.
I feel like it is just right now for the companies to compete against each other and grow.
There are other ones out there, but its basically waves, neo, and eth.
They can all ride this to new heights.

I agree with you, a few months ago I set aside waves, but after seeing the market movement. I am surprised.

Couple of times Waves price dropped after major announcments. I'm wondering what will happen this time.

The Waves team is making progress. Now the wave growth comes from the BTC. Growth and decline will continue all the time, but by the summer of 2018 is expected a large increase 8)
