I am 4 miles from a MAJOR DHL hub that receives these orders from China.  My delivery times are the best.  It takes me 11 minutes to drive to DHL when necessary.   My location is in a major metropolitan area next to a LARGE international airport that is a hub for shipping for all delivery companies.  This gives me access to DHL, FedEx (also just 4 miles away, open till 9 PM for next day shipping).  I have access to several Post Offices around me.  I can ship USPS till 7 PM.
Simply put, I am in the best position geographically and logistically to receive an order and to get it out to you ASAP.  Period.

The cost of shipping is 0.09 bitcoins for orders of 10 or less.  USPS Priority Flat Rate shipping is free for orders of 11+
You can upgrade to USPS Express or FedEx.  you need to contact me for a quote based on the # of miners you wish to have shipped (weight dependent).

Domestic Insurance:
Now optional.  Be aware, if you choose not to pay for insurance, you absolve me of any liability or claims for lost, damaged etc... packages.  In other words, buy the insurance.  I just got a kick ass rate and am very happy to extend it to you all!!
 
Insurance cost is $2.40 for up to 10 miners ($1000 of declared value).  This is 0.028 btc and the minimum if you are adding insurance.
cost of insuring each additional miner beyond 10 is $0.24 or 0.00282353 btc.
so for 11 miners for example (N=11), cost would be (N*0.00282353)= (11*0.00282353) where N is the number of units ordered.  If N is less than or equal to 10, then the insurance cost is fixed at 0.028 btc

Handling and processing is a flat rate of .10 btc per order.  (this pays for a hired person, yes, this has created a small job (for now)  ;D )

so for example, if you order 10 miners with insurance, the cost is:
.95*10+.09(shipping)+.028(insurance)+.10(handling)= 9.718 or 0.9718 per miner.
if you order 10 without insurance, the cost is: .95*10+.09+.10= 9.69 or 0.969 per miner.

if you order 11 with insurance: .95*11 +0.0(free shipping) + 11*0.00282353(insurance) + .10 (handling) = 0.96191444 per miner.
if you order 11 without insurance: .95*11 +0.0(free shipping) + 11*0.0(insurance, i'm not responsible) + .10 (handling) = 0.95909091 per miner.

Note, local pickup is no longer available for orders less than 50 units.

Shipment:
The USB miners will be shipped to you within 1 day of me receiving them.  Shipped in cardboard box, not padded envelopes...

I live in Chicago (CST time zone: UTC/GMT -5 hours) and have a day-job that allows me ample time to devote to this endeavor. The thread by friedcat is showing that Erupters are out of stock. Have you contacted him to confirm availability? There's no point in a fast two-day group buy if you have to wait weeks for stock to be available.

I'd be in for 8, and would order right now, but my Coinbase transaction doesn't clear until Saturday morning.  I'm interested in a group buy #13 also!

I ordered in groups 10,11,12.   6 sticks 6 sticks and now 10 sticks in group 12. Total of 22 sticks.

Just got a call from DHL that I have a delivery coming on Monday :)
Batch 1 of this group will ship out Monday folks.

Shipped on 22nd, he got them 2 days later... most of my international customers enjoy fast delivery without getting stuck in customs.  you get what you pay for.

im not that lucky ;p it says mine was released today from customs so im expecting it tommorow. but anyway it was in my country after only 2 days too so ye thats very fast :)

just checked your tracking, your package does not show any issues.
getting customs release is a normal status message during the course of delivery. 
international packages take 2 days to MAJOR cities, otherwise it's an extra day or two after it reaches the first distribution hub in your country.

I am looking carefully... the time frame is within expected amount.  they probably did check it, but it took 1 day.  they weren't checking from 8 am to 3 PM none-stop.  it sat in a queue in customs, they got it, looked at it and released it.  you got fantastic turnaround with customs due to FedEx.  ;D you'd be waiting for weeks with USPS

i know all this

and it took 2 days not 1 because package was ready for customs from 8am and its early.. they had all day to do this ;)
they finished at the end of next day (working hours)

ye im very happy with fedex and dhl for international packages
