What do you mean by the best? The ability to grow in long term? If so check out waves and stratis projects. They both have very strong fundamentals to grow even in the mid-term.

Bitcoin is by far the best coin. Despite of volatility, it is still the highest paying coin ever. Next to it is ethereum. This is my opinion. There are still good coins out there that I have not encountered yet.

I really like Waves!

I strongly believe in this project. It has anything it needs to be successful: great team, decentralized exchange, token creation, lending and even a multicoin wallet. Its price is rising these days, but it's still low compared to its value so I'm gonna buy more.

All crypto-currencies are made using different technologies.
Personally, I think that the best currency is Bitcoin. Also, on the principle of Bitcoin is also made Litecoin, so I also invest in it.

I think the best coin for now is Ethereum because this coin is very stable in other coins and has the potential to increase in the coming year.

according to me of course coin on the market it's all good. but still good again bitcoin. because the bitcoin for the most safe. investment and transactions,too as the most famous in the world.

I personally think it might be too late to get into LTC. It went up 150% in 2 days and has to be in for a crash soon. The growth is impossible to sustain. Get into ETH while you still can because it can do the same thing LTC is doing. It's just a matter of time. While you're at it, check it IOTA too. Split your investments into those two coins and you should be set for growth!

Always go for those altcoins which are listed on the top CoinMarketCap since those coins have the potential on increasing its value over time. My suggestion is not to invest all your money to only one coin. Try to put your money in 3-5 different altcoins and keep them for a longer period of time.

It depends on what are your qualifications? price? future? technology? for me it BTC still the king though a lot of new coins are better.

There are so many good projects of crypto currencies out there, but the past has already shown that it's not the best thing which become famous and used by the majority, but it's the one which has the best marketing to present it.

Bitcoin is the best coin in terms of high value.But every coin have it's own advantage and disadvantage,if you are asking for which coin to invest then please mention about your investment clearly like how much and how long your investment will be.
If you have huge money to invest on long term then it is better to buy and hold bitcoins,if you are looking for short term profit then ICO is the best option for you.But not all ICOs are profitable so do some research about that project before investing.

BTC is still the best,but in the best of the best there will always be better thats how it works new breed of alts are coming in.

There are always those with on the tops with good roadmap planned ahead and high development team involvement. For example, NEO, STRAT, XMR, ETH, DCR But most of them are pumped much and early adopters and accumulators have already cashed out x10~x100. There are few of the coins lately gaining traction, for example LBRY credits, blocknet. They are slowly moving up but still not as pumped as other coins are.

Definitely Bitcoin is the among the other cryptocurrencies that are existing. Figures don't lie. The price and even more bigger community. Theres no other altcoins can do the same level as Bitcoin. But this is for now. We don't have the power to predict the future. Only time will tell what cryptocurrency will prevail in the future. But i see some potential altcoins that can get to the level of Bitcoin.

IOTA. This altcoin is a good altcoin in the market right. The concept is really good. No transaction fee and no problem in terms of scalability. Right now Bitcoin is really problematic about the scalability issues. Iota is a good alternative.

Ethereum. The biggest altcoin in the market next to Bitcoin. The community huge also.

There is no best coin, all coins are created equal except premine coin. All of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. For example Monera have better privacy transaction than Bitcoin or Ethereum have smart contract and bitcoin didn't . This must be the most asked question to cryptoinvestors. I am hating it. Possibly there is no best coin. It is similar to all these national currencies. Every other of them have better days or worse. For example Turkish lira was shining in last 7 years, but it was one of the worst in last 3 years.

We know there are some many coins that are present in this world, such as the bitcoin, ethereum and others, because they have advantages in their fields. I still choose bitcoin, but also have alternative like eth and xmr. Best meaning ( for me ), has clearly pattern and survive until now. You need to clarify some standards to check that coins : vision , technology , team , community..

If Bitcoin goes down, then all of these coins will too dump to the bottom, so thinkwise to choose alt coins. Try to invest in Ethereum, NEO, Dash and litecoin so chances will be less for loss.

At you're rank i still wonder until now you ask that one, but here's my answer to your question. The best coin ever and most trusted coin in crypto world was BITCOIN, no doubt on this coin i invested here 25% of my salary every month end. Hoping for this that it gives us more profitable nowadays and thank's to bitcoin we have an extra income to fulfill our daily needs.
Beside from that there's some altcoins too have potential in the future i also picking up those top 3 high valued altcoins and i invest these and hold for a long run, these coins named litecoin, ethereum and neo.

There are so many coins showing up eventually some of it is considered as better for long run investment but I really prefer ethereum 2nd leading crypto currency, it's really possible to pump like BTC does. I think you need to evaluate many factors, what you consider is the value of money or its potential application, obviously if you consider the value is the coin bitcoin is the most because it is the first coin and Everyone knows about it, but in terms of speed or application, it's not the best.

In my opinion the best coin is BTC..especially if you look for something to put some money in and have some nice profits on a mid-long term period of time.
A very stable and profitable token is Ethereum and it is still a good investment at the moment.
Iota is also an interesting coin with a huge potential to be expressed in the future.
Privacy coins are also important and besides Monero i suggest you to take a look at other younger and cheaper coins that are still very affordable and

As usual, bitcoin is the most popular and best coin for other people and even I believe how it is good than other altcoin. I assume you're not asking about the definition of the 'best' coin....If so, it's BTC for sure (the king despite all things like the high transactions fees....) and then Ether (the Queen and will remain the same for long long time)

It depends on the market. Every coin is different every time. Some works on ethereum some on bitcoin blockchains. Some grows when bitcoin is up some grows when bitcoin is low.

I think that bitcoin is still the best coin, after all alt coins are based on bitcoin with only added features bitcoin can't do. For me bitcoin is still the most stable when it comes to both stability and value. Also, bitcoin's technology is also a factor for it to remain as the number one coin out there.
